"So what do you want? Why did you come back?" Kiki lowered her gun. Her finger remained on the trigger. She wasnt ready to relax around him. He had yet to prove himself trustworthy. "It was snowing the last time I saw you too.."
"It was..." Vrix stared back into a past, a lifetime ago, not quite remembering the blurred images of his past. He sighed and sat down on the bed, now ignoring Kiki as being an actual threat. "I has been a long time, my love." He looked down at the floor, and stared away into some distant past. He recalled a flash of lightening, and a cliff face, drenching rain and mud, and her face, the face of his foe. Her... Kiki.

Odihiru's swat van schreeched to a halt as he watched, a daemon and then Benji ran past.
"Some would say too long." She muttered as she watched the clean up crew. They were working to get her doors replaced. All of them were peppered with bullet holes. She turned her attention to him. What in the world did he think he was doing? Yes yes make yourself at home Vrix. Kick off your shoes. Dont mind the bloody mess you made in the hall. Forget the fact you held a sword to my head. Just lay down and take a nap. She shook her head as she eyed him.

Benjii and Infernus stand still, holding their composure as best they can as they watched the idiots fall out of the van. Infernus took a step forward, smiling a little as he stopped walking when he felt one of the guns on his chest. "well, now what do we have here? comedians in swat uniforms? not sure if i should feel insulted or happy for the comical relief." Benjii stepped forward as well, a little more cautious as he stared at the team holding their weapons up. "this seems familiar..."
"You're such a critic." He replied to what he thought must be running through her mind, based on the way she was eyeing him, and looking at the damage. Two years ago, she wouldn't have cared. T'was the life they led.

"Arrest the-" before he could finish the sentence the squad had opened fire. "I SAID ARR- never mind."
"And you abandoned me for two years after finally confessing your love. And it would seem as though a lot of men have done so in the past. You wernt the only one. Infernus did the same. Which is why I am now here running a city on my own. And I believe I've done a damn good job without y-" "My Lady!" A man burst into her room. She spun to face him, venting the anger Vrix had drawn out of her upon him. "WHAT?!" The man flinched and took a step back. "F..Forgive me, your highness. There.. There seems to be a problem. Odihiru's men were called to a scene.. We have reports that shots were fired." She stared at the man as he gave his report. As if things couldnt get any worse. Now she had rogue vampires on the loose. "I see.. Very well. I will deal with it, thank you." She nodded to the shaken man. Until now she had been a calm, collected woman. She did her best to be understanding. It made her a good ruler. Never has she snapped at anyone in such a way since she rose to power.
Kiki went to retrieve her gun belt. "Stay here or come along, Vrix. It does not matter to me." She glanced at him as she walked towards her balcony.
Darrius Canterbury was observing the entire scene between the SWAT team and the two vampires from an alleyway. He could see the closest SWAT trembling with his gun nestled against one of the vampire's chest. His thoughts were on his wife and small child. He was thinking that he'd never see them again because this beast was surly going to kill him. And the officer was right. The vampire would utterly destroy him and everyone else there just for sheer pleasurement.
The other was a little more apprehensive about the situation. He was clearly trying to remember something but it was as if his memories were wiped clean from him. It gave Darrius a headache as he tried to listen to the still vampire's thoughts.
He stepped into the scene before him and looked slight and insignificant compared to the armored SWAT team and the rather gruesome looking vampires. He was tall but lanky and looked like he belonged in an Abercrombie & Fitch print ad with his bronze colored hair, green eyes and angelic face. He had an unconcerned look running across his angular facial features and stood in a inoffensive stance but spoke in a matter-of-fact tone. "There are laws that prevent you from doing what you are about to do to these daft creatures," he said to strange vampire.
He sighed and swiftly made his way to safety as the leader, Odihiru, gave the order to arrest and the team began to shoot instead. Darrius knew they were terrified and terrifically out of practice in handling his kind but this was atrocious. They practically sealed their fate. If the two vampires were unharmed by the team, death would swiftly befall the inept SWAT team. He could and would do nothing but watch from the sidelines. He was no longer a general and the Prince was dead. That effectively relieved him of any authority he previously possessed. He watched the scene unfold.

Kiki appeared on the street standing beside Odihiru. "Hold your fire. It wont do any good against them. She glared at the two from where she stood. "Your bullets wont work.. And you'll need a lot of silver.. Which I doubt you have." Her men were pouring out of the tower. They were taking up positions around the group.
"Hello Benjii.. Infernus." She straightened her posture a bit. "What brings you back to my town?" Her eyes narrowed. The men had orders to fire at the first sign of movement. She was not going to have a mass slaughter on her hands. Loosing two vampires is nothing in comparison to loosing hundreds of innocent humans.
"Im doing better then your wife and child. And yes, my town. It was a struggle, but I eventually took over. Do yourselves a favor and dont cause trouble. Ive beat both of you in a fight before. I could do it again. And I dont think steph's heart could stand much more grief, more or less her body. She's weak enough as it is." Her eyes moved from Benjii, to Infernus. "I'd expect trouble from him.. But from you Benjii.. I wasnt expecting to see you tagging along with that." She nodded towards Infernus.
Infernus tilted his head and smiled at Kiki "i missed you too beautiful. some crowd you associate with these days. are your their new saviour as well as their mayor? Benjii, get your damned nails out of my shoulder!" he grabbed Benjii's hand and pulled it away from him, noting the chuck of his flesh missing now. Benjii slowed his breathing, staring at Kiki, losing his calm as he took a step forward "what did you say..."
