"Yeah well you better resist them, bud." Once he was asleep she slipped out of his arms and made her way downstairs. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water, wondering where her Vrix had gone.

jasons eyes crept open and he peered around the room. he began to stand and saw tammi huddled in the corner. he strapped his rifle back on and grabbed the mini uzi, concieling both under his jacket. he peered ot of the room to see if the cops had left. he turned back and tried to wake tammi up.

She sighed and stepped back, looking at the window to make sure it was sturdy. "Yes you do... But you're not always cruel to me. I still remember the old days... When you found me in the elivator for instans." She looked over at him and smiled faintly. "You can stay here there are still a few soldiers in the hospital."

Tammi opened her eyes and looked up at Jason. "Oh god Jason!" She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tight. "I'm so glad your ok... I was so scared.. Where did they go?"

Benjii woke up awhile later, looking for Steph but finally remembereing where he was. "great...now she left me too"

She called up to him, hearing what he had said. "Oh go cry emo kid." She walked up and handed him a cup of coffee with a little bit of blood in it. "Sleep good?"

Benjii sipped the coffee "i'm not emo...just over dramatic. yea i slept fine...kinda weird though. not used to being in the same bed as you." he gulped the coffee down and yelled out in pain "****!!! that ***** was hot!!"

She rolled her eyes and sighed softly. "Yes... That is called coffee. It is hot."

Benjii fanned his tongue "i know what coffee is...just not used to it being so hot!" he sighed and held his burnt tongue

jason pointed to his nose, which had crusty dry blood under it. "hehe, my nose is still broken" he stood. "well i dont know where they are, benjii knocked me out." he scratched the top of his head. "steph and lich havent come back either."

Benjii sighed "i can't wait for this ordeal to be over with. i can finaly make you job alot easier than it is now"

Kiki shook her head and refilled his cup with ice water. "Here." She said handing him the cup. "You tongue should heal soon. But that might be safe for you to drink then coffee."

Tammi took his hand and guided him over to Steph's bed. "Sit down and I'll get you fixed up."

Benjii put his tongue in the water and let out a breathe of relief "that feels so much better...its nice and cold." he smiled with his tongue still out of his mouth

jason sat down on the broken bed, being careful not to fall backwards. "i think he just dislocated the bone, which shouldnt be too hard to fix."

She nodded and brought back a brace for his nose. Carefully she sat down and started to gently clean away the blood. "He did more than that. It shouldnt take long to heal though."

Kiki shook her head and took a sip.

jason winced as her hand brushed against his nose accidentally. "god, this sucks. why is it that im allways the one getting basshed up by benjii."

Kiki looked up at him quietly. "What's on your mind lover boy?"

Tammi winced and looked at him. "Sorry.. It's hard to clean noses." She put the brace on him, trying not to laugh. "Ok.. There you go."

Benjii didn't look at her "i'm confused. and not about just one thing, but many. i still have feelings for you but i love Steph with all of my heart. and then, what am i supposed to do with my life? was i not made to destroy the world that we live on?" he shook his head and lost himself in thought

Steph shook her head and laid back in the grass. The sun felt so good on her body. She hadnt seen the sun in days, being married to a vampire would do that to you. "I dont know... I dont even remember why I'm here... I just know that right now, I dont really want to go back." She sighed happily and closed her eyes.

"Hey come on now," the young lich said shaking her gently, "if your not meant to be here, don't get comfortable." He smiled helping her up to her feet. "Come on let's go for a walk," he took her hand and led her towards the lake. Suddenly a darkening cloud covered the sun and everything became dark and gloomy. "That isn't supposed to happen," and as he finished this, a dark eerie figure began walking towards them over the water's surface. Behind him was a wall of thunderous rain that continued poured several feet behind him. Leinhart [y. Lich] stood in front of Steph. Realizing who it was, he understood why she was here. He turned and grabbed her by the arms, "whatever you do, don't stop running," he turned around to see the the figure began sprinting towards them, "run, NOW!" And before Steph could say anything, he thrusted her away from him and began sprinting towards the man.

Lich struggled to stay standing as he could feel a battle rage on in Steph's head. "I'm almost done," the man said, sowing up Steph's wound. "Give me a couple of seconds." Lich opened his eyes and began trying to communicate with Steph, Listen to me, wake up he staggard before looking down at her again, please, don't let go...
