Unless Cyke is massively holding back, just about any of his blasts would at least effect if not out right KO Batman and while it's true that1) Cyke's blasts have been dodged
and
2) Batman has dodged blastsThe following is also true
1) Cyclops has hit people faster than Batman
and
2) Batman has been hit beforeIf you want to use high end Batman in order to say that Cyke has no chance of hitting him, then the other side can use high end Cyke which means that Batman would have no chance to dodge.
dodging cyke's blast wouldn't be high end either. close range bullets and security lasers aren't high end.

you'd think this is superman vs batman no prep.cyke= street level/mid tier attack. how many full blown mid tiers or at least people beyond cyke's league has batman floored without prep? no,i'm not grasping anything.how is something nearly impossible when you commit feats comparable on a regular, routine basis? it can't be.

the thing is,bats cosistently dodges lasers and close gunfire in appearances. i don't believe cyke's beams to be faster than a laser,maybe not even a gun. factoring in wide angle blasts is stretching.it's not the norm for cyke and is reserved for such threats not found in this match.i thought we were being realistic here(no comment,i saw it coming and therefore,it's null and void.lol).batman can dodge things similar to his beam and has many many times.cyke is only human when it comes to resistance and agility/speed. how long would this fight actually last close range? batman can kick with enough force to crush a human skull and is trained in 127 forms of martial arts.not to mention he has more technique and skill and experience with it than cyke can imagine.if he got close by dodging,he'd know he'd have to put him down, and fast.and he would. he's not gonna play around and have a little h2h bout with cyclops while they guys shooting beams all over the place.i say batman for the majority because i assume you guys aren't setting him out a hundred yards away in a level field with no obstacles. if he starts off close enough dodging that beam a few times and quickly KOing cyke wouldn't be hard at all.his chances do dwindle the further out he goes.but i assumed this was a match between two opponents. not target practice for one(also no comment.null and void,like i said.lol)

You argue that we're claiming Batman will act as target practice for Cyke. What you, and several others, don't seem to realize is that the same goes for Cyke. He can move, TOO. It's not as if Batman is just trying to dodge a sentry gun and get in close to pummel it. This is a living, breathing, calculating opponent. If he uses even a fraction of his intelligence, Batman is getting nowhere near him.
Also. Cyke's optic blasts move at the speed of light, and therefore much faster than a bullet. It's been stated, on-panel, at least twice.

I often read these forums, and occasionally jump in when Cyclops topics come up.
I'm not going to debate who wins here....opinion is opinion after all. But i would like to inform you namorsubby - Scotty's beams DO move at the speed of light. Take another look at the Cyclops respect thread, it's DEFINITELY in there, in some scanned in pics. I know this because i stuck them up myself! And Metalmanx is right, there are at least two on-panel statements about how fast they move.
So while it's unlikely to change your feelings on who'd win this bout, i hope you realise you can't keep saying Cyclops' blasts don't move at lightspeed.

* that's not even a factor in this match-up... Cyke is not standing like a tree firing optic blasts... he is one accurate son of a gun, and without PIS, Cyclops should never ever miss...

1-3 seconds: let's say Batman gets lucky to make a one-hit KO...
4 seconds & up: Cyke managed to buy some time, dodge and parry some of Batman's attacks and went for a point blank optic blast...

Taking all this in, Batman chances in straight up fight will be difficult. 7/10 for cyclop. First Batman has to pass cyclop beams which are accurate. Cyclop can also defend himself in H2H combat and dodge and step back for another blast.
These Scans you placed up namorsubbynamorsubby wasn' enough to support Batman dodging skills.
This scan show Batman swinging on rope dodging a snipe shot from moving helicopter. Well first it was difficult enough to aim at moving object(*Batman), he also has to shoot from moving helicopter.
As you notice in this other scan where he dodge's bullets and threw a knife at helicopter to disable it.
-If you careful take a look, the boy was already holding that knife.
-The helicopter also can be fired at the side as you can see*
(*Batman was running inside of the firing range*)
This second page scan of the top one show the helicopter was indeed unable to rotate the machine guns and was pilot by 1 man.
The last scan of Mr. Freeze was impressive dodging feat of Batman. Comparable to dodgin bullets as well.
As you know Cyclop beam is conseccutive blasts with high accuracy follow/looking at Batman moments.
7/10 for Cyclop
