Thor = for sheer brute power and the ability to conjur up storms.

Superman - Thor = inconclusive. The reason I say inconclusive is because neither has shown to me greater intellect than the other. Superman has his journalistic instincts and a fair (not impressive) ability to lead. Whereas Thor is a leader yet shows very little interest in mysteries.
Enemies
let's face it. It's the enemy that makes the man. Superman has problems in this department but how many of us know Thor's enemies. Not many. Why? Because they're dead. Thor will go the extra mile and it's okay. Why? BECAUSE HE'S A NORSEMAN! Loki is still alive because Odin has defended him so many times it's not even funny. Wait. Is Loki still alive?

Man's got a point. Not to mention, if superman doesn't have the balls to down superman (assuming he could), he wouldn't have it in him to actually carry through with it. Thor on the other hand? Not a problem. He'll go that extra step.

True, but there is much more to factor in to show that Thor could defeat Superman. To be honest, if someone has seen everything that has been posted in this thread, and cannot come to the conclusion that Thor would beat Superman, then there are three possible things:
1. You're inconclusive on your position.
2. You're kinda stubborn
3. You're a damn fanboy.
I'm not saying anyone is anything, but those three things are about all the possibilities.
