Warrior madness doesnt alter him physically, just mentally. He becomes uninhibited and willing to kill. This is why later, Thor was able to kill Hulk and Thing with just one arm even though the other skyfathers had taken away his access to the odinpower. He was no longer inhibited and had full access to his strength.

point is thor will not be at this level in his normal showings.

Thats like saying hulk at one point becomes so strong he destroy the universe with a punch 😉

I don't think anyone really comprehends how much control Superman and Thor must use. IMO they are usually only using literally millionths of their full strength. Try using only one millionths of your strength. Its impossible, one would have to be near stagnant. I think of them of their bodies, as more like nuclear power stations rather than normal bio chemical organisms. 🙂

Excellent comparison, but even this I don't think quite catches it.

We all know what "horsepower" means. And in terms of power, 1 horsepower = 746 watts.

But what about "manpower"? After much research, the closest answer I could get for this is: 1 manpower = (about) 100 watts. I had also read once in a weight-training book that the average man can military press about 100 pounds; forsooth, it would take 20 men to press 1 ton. So the power it takes for 1 average man to overhead-press about 100 pounds is about 100 watts; to press 1 ton, about 2 kilowatts. With that in mind...

Let's say Superman or Thor can press 1 billion tons (Gigaton Level strength 😉 ). That means they have to generate about 2000 gigawatts of power. 2 terawatts is about how much energy the entire US uses in the course of 1 year.

So: Superman/Thor have at least as much power as all energy sources (not just the many nuclear power plants) in the United States combined generate over one full year. They're more like starship powerplants the size and shape of human beings.

Not good enough. Superman also wins because of his powers.

yes his powers are good enough 😄

So are Superman's. And I realize that they are good enough to pull wins against Superman. That's why I would give him 4/10 wins. I ment that your explanation wasn't good enough as to how he would defeat Superman.
