Supes has beaten lots of magical characters

Even wrestled the odd Angel like ASmodel to a stanstill 😄 and defeated the odd demon lord Sathanus or Blaze or both. 😄 So your argument is.............................

One punch soaked (magic) by CM knocked out Superman Mjolnir will get a win for Thor.

Even without Magic weakness Thor has beaten Hulk (with Mjolnir), fought Gladiator, SS and was holding his own.

7/10 for Thor.

Re: Re: Supes has beaten lots of magical characters

He blindsided him and hit him whilst he wasn't looking as they were having a chat. Thats like two equal boxers waiting till the fight is over and one hitting the other whilst his not looking. It had little to do with magic, more to do with ambush and sucker punch.

Thor has fought Gladiator like Three times I know he can’t beat Gladiator am not saying that.

I know Gladiator > Thor but Jake was giving Gladiator a good fight (not masterson).

The point is Superman is weak to magical attacks.

He went head to head with angry Hulk without his hammer.

Thor! Feel the power of...... Mjolnir! 💃

It's all about the hammer time...

Supes is faster, probably stronger, and quicker too.

But the difference between them in those categories isn't that big and therefore THOR's magic helps him actually KILL superman. Seriously.

Superman is dead again after this fight. 😎

We take greatest feats on here

Asmodels magic is at least Mjolinirs equal and Supes wrestled him, and in fact was winning, Supes is vulnerable to magic, that does not mean he can't handle it 😄

Asmodels magic is stonger than CM(magic punch) no? 🙄

Re: Re: We take greatest feats on here

Captain Marvels Sucker punch

Heimdell once knocked Thor out in one, it happens.

😄

Thor has the advantage with Magic but it has been proved Superman is more Powerful then Thor and I will not tell you guys how I found this out but Superman can beat Thor and I am not gonna tell you where I got the Superman more Powerful then Thor thing. Oh I also read that he was more Powerful then Darkseid hearing he was above him and Doomsday and Gog were his only equals. I am never telling you guys where I found this out.

But I gotta say they can be equal I guess. But I stay on this that Superman can beat Thor.

Supermans weakness to magic kinda mess up the whole match-up and shifts the advantage into thors favor. In a straight out fist fight Superman is probablyu at least somewhat stronger and definately faster but a Lightning Bolt or two faster than Sups could end the whole thing

The better match-up would be Thor vs Captain Marvell. In which case id DEFINATELY side with Billy.6 Gods beats 1 every time

I agree with you decision but I dont know if I agree with your logic.

Well that last part was more soundbite material rather than actual debate material

People, stop underrating Thor.

Thor could take Superman in combat easily. Thor is just as strong as Superman, if not stronger. He was given the strength of his mother, Gaea, and Odin's own strength. He doesn't use his strength outside of battle often, but when in battle, he's a powerhouse. When he and Odin fought Surtur, Thor was strong enough to lift Twilight, (Surtur's sword.) For those of you who didn't know, Twilight was forged from the matter of a white dwarf star, and easily weighed as much as the sun itself. Summoning all of his strength, Thor was strong enough to lift Twilight over his head, and hurl it.

Don't underestimate the God-blast, either. In Thor #161, Thor was forced to unleash the god-blast against Galactus. Already weakened from hunger, Galactus is forced to retreat into space. Imagine what that kind of power would do to Superman, considering that magic is his weakness.

Thor does have superspeed.

During Blood and Thunder, while observing Thor in battle, Adam Warlock says that Thor is "as fast as the lightning he commands!" Adam isn't known to hyperbolize. Lightning travels at about 18,940 miles per second in earth's atmosphere. Thor is easily as fast as Superman. In hand to hand combat, he's likely faster.

Thor has god-like reflexes as well.

Thor once blocked one of the Phoenix's psi-bolts (which travels faster than the speed of thought) with his hammer, and bounced it right back at her in Thor #428. No hammer-spinning, just reflexes.

The narration says "A telepathic bolt of unmentionable fury instantly races toward the still groggy Avenger! But then, with [i]reflexes[i] honed in a thousand battles, the mighty Thor instinctively raises his hammer!"

The psi-bolt was about two feet in front of his face before he raised his hammer, and Thor was disorientated when Phoenix attacked him. Superman wouldn't be able to speedblitz Thor; his reflexes are godly. If Superman, rushes in, he would likely get smacked in the face with Mjolnir. Even without magic, Thor's more than a match for Superman physically. Magic would just seal the deal.

I would think that Superman is much faster than a PSI-bolt.

Thor dies. End of story.

I'm sure you would like to, but he isn't even fast enough to catch bullets.

Thor beats him into a bloody pulp.

Cosmic anybody over the age of 25 are gonna say that Superman will beat the crap out of Thor which he already did.

Cosmic we debate this kind of stuff in my local comic shop and there is no teenagers whatsoever around and nobody thinks that Thor can defeat Superman.

And we have been colloecting comics for 20 years.

Thor: "Too slow, Death Goddess! For mine is the swiftness of the very lightning itself! And the fury of the elements is as nothing to the fury of Thor this day!"

Hela: [thinks to herself] "Never before hath the Thunder God been so like a raging juggernaut! His speed, his anger, are beyond comprehension! I cannot stop him! I cannot touch him!" Thor #354.

So much for super speed. 🙁

Sure. There are a lot of adult Superman fanboys who think Superman would win every battle, for lack of knowledge. Crossovers count for nothing. I think you meant to say anyone under the age of 13.

Thor crushes him. 😛
