I think most comic fans would be in general agreement that when someone starts arguing FTL speed as an advantage Thor holds over Superman, it's best not to even bother debating that person. Reality simply isn't his game, and you've nothing to gain by humoring him.

Especially if I don't think his opponent's (Superman) combat speed is clearly FTL. That premise combined with comparable durability, comparable strength, comparable fighting skills, exotic powers/spells of Mjolnir and Superman's magic weakness lead me to believe that classic Thor could get a majority on Superman 6/10, maybe 7/10, despite Superman's clear combat speed advantage.
The Rulk fight has given me cause to reconsider this matchup right here.
The first Thor Superman matchup was decided by Superman catching Thor's hammer and beating him because of Thor's initial shock here. Rulk utterly dominated Thor the first time they fought and Thor was kicking the shit out of him the second time they fought it seems from the scans I briefly just looked at.
Im giving this to Thor. Its all about the warhammer. He gets it right the second time just like against Rulk.
