True. Although thor is one of the more powerful heroes in the marvel universe, it's not like he's one of the major players in the marvel franchise.

On the other hand, DC was built around superman. He's their main man (sorry lobo). Even the superhero concept was built around superman.

I mean, just ask any kid, teen, adult, or senior citizen... they all know who superman is... and not even half of them probably know thor.

There's no way that DC is gonna let their icon get beat.

but... thor beats superman in this one. forget the popularity contest, thor+odinforce is too much for yon alienman.
