Im curious also. It appears that he is using X-ray vision.

Gladiator is a truly a rip-off.

<<I also have no doubt about that and totally agree with you. It looks to me like Supes is just being a bastard and showing off there.>>

HA! i actually really like that description, avalon! i agree. i couldn't find the right words, but i think that is exactly what he's doing - showing off! though i still contend he is dodging, and NOT vibrating. someone on this thread said he's vibrated through attacks many times. i'd love it if someone could show a post-c supes vibrating through (not vibrating to cause damage- ie cyborg) another attack, anywhere. until i see that, i will continue with the opinion that this 'vibrating intangible' ability is out of character and should be discartded for this argument.

and kg, stop trying to make this a supes v glads thead! damn, we got us enough problems with THIS thread!

🙂

Yeah.

Kallark, lol.

He is a rip-off - but he now has an established place in comics and I'm afraid we need to accept it lol.

ok 😮

Hey, Leo in MOS #110 Superman vibrated himself invisible. Sorry I cant get a scan but maybe somebody can.

yo it takes concentration for supes to vibrate at that speed....and thats what hes doing using superspeed to vibrate....but really now hes uber intelligent and concentrating isnt hard for the guy....he was showing off for a reason in the DD scan....putting the fear in DD...I mean Id be scared if I went to hit a guy punched through him then blasted him and it went right through him too....ummm time for new friggin strategy no doubt! Supes da man when hes in regular form "not blue red that sucked"

i'll take your word for it, juggs. but does invisible mean intangible? flash can run fast enough people can't see him, but he can still be hit. no offense to anyone, i'd just like to see him use this intangibility power in a battle other than the rather confusing one with doomsday.

Well whatever he was doing he did not get hit by physical attacks. Wether he was dodging the attacks or if he was intangible who knows.

The fact is that Superman can do this and we cannot discard this option for Superman. In MOS #110 he was invisible indeed and he got that way by vibrating his body really fast. Invisible or intagible who knows.

Flash can do this also I hear if he chosses.

yep invisibility

you're right snoop - supes speed and strength advantages are imho the reasons he would win his share of their battles. thor has his hammer and all it brings with it (along with great speed and enormous strength), supes has his (much greater) speed, (i think considerably higher) invulnerabilty and (somewhat higher) strength.

they each win 5/10.

Superman's superior invulnerability, oh yeah.
Look at the pic I'm posting. The explosion is magical energy created from the clash of Mjolnir and its replicas.
Thor is alive.Considering Post Crisis Superman was K.O.ed from 2blows at full power from Captain Marvel to stp him from going into the 5th Dimension, I'm sure Mjolnir surrounded by GF energy will have the same effect.

Wait till next week when I get done moving and Ill show you cases where Superman has dealt with powerful magical blows.

You're comparing those lightnings with a nuclear strike-like magical explosion?Come on.

Those are from the wizard Shazaam so they are not normal lightning strikes.

Just wait till next week and Ill reach into my bag of tricks and show some more extreme cases.

Wait, isn't that Superman possessed by Eclypso?
Cause if it's so the example doesn't count.
Being fused or whatever with Eclypso may mean thatn his weakness against magic is someway countered or not so meaningful as it maybe with normal Supes.
Captain Marvel put him on the ground with a cross punch and a hook punch charged from his magical lightning.
Shazam is above CM so his lightnings are above those of CM.

Sorry but thats not true. If you read the comic you would know this.

Regardless that is Supermans body. Eclipso just controled it.

Facts are it's inconsistent to prove he can resist high magical forces.
CM was able to K.O. him and Shazam who's the one that granted CM his powers can't?

CM hit Superman when he wasnt looking. Did you even read that comic?

CM even said that he got lucky 😉
