Blade vs. Wolverine

Fighting ability in comics only refers to actual skill. Speed is a separate attribute altogether. Otherwise, speedsters and cosmics would all be level 7 fighters.

But obviously when I was making statements about speed and fighting ability separately and distinctly I was really referring to them combined as all-encompassing "fighting ability (speed included) (TM) (C) (R)"

😂

Oh and for the nickname I forgot about that and didn't make the connection, now that I get the context... hysterical great name btw.

Right so the fact that speedsters and cosmics arent level 7 means that speed doesnt affect their ability to fight.

I suppose optic blasts, repulsor rays, super strength, and healing factors should all get included into "fighting ability" as well right? 🙄

Lemme ask you Kotex? Does it ever actually wear you down? Being constantly wrong. ALL the time.. EVERY DAY?...

No, it's more that no one was referring to speed, they were referring to skill being hindered, and the only one arguing for a change in speed be it faster (100 years ago) or slower (2008), is you, in some horribly tragic attempt to bullshit your way out of I don't even know what anymore.

But I do know it is tragic. And you should stop. You passed through hard place and smashed through rock bottom a while ago.

Damn you, Jinzin!! You beat me to it!!! 🙁

I just got the Blue Screen of Death on my monitor... thumbdown

This is my explanation for how mind-control makes you slower. How is it any different from what anybody else is saying?

It does because it depends upon how you feel about what you are doing. If you charge at somebody with the intent to kill and you believe in what you are doing you are going to be faster than you would be if you felt bad about what you were doing and did not want to do it. The mind can affect you physically.

Obvoulsy if you are fighting mind-control you are not going to be as fast as you would be because you would be hesistant and conflicted about what you were doing.

They should make Alf a government agent. Whenver they need to crack a suspect they could just send him in arguing god knows what just for the sake of it.

If it doesn't make them beg to tell the truth at least it'll drive them crazy. dur

Just answer the question. You asked me ages ago how does brainwashing make you slow that was my explanation to it which is not any different from what anybody else is saying.

Define ages, is a century an age? So more than one age is what, four pages ago then?

The only person making arguments about speed being faster or slower was you in some bizarre red herring.

No one was saying he was slower, they were saying his fighting skills were affected, citing that his head was clouded, out of it, not of right mind. It's a general effect of brainwashing. Cyclops' near perfect aim can't hit Storm, Lady Shiva goes down without a fight against Batman.

You said he was both as skilled and had a speed upgrade, just over a hundred years ago, based on that he stabbed Thing and he stabbed Northstar. You couldn't find anything to show a speed upgrade and you can't respond to the question about how either of those instances would require the totality of Wolverine's unimpaired skill.

You're now flipping and flopping like a used sanitary pad and I don't know if anyone including yourself knows what on earth you're even trying to argue anymore. You should really just pretend the keyboard is a piano and play a song, because it would come out more coherent.

Two pages ago and this is the explanation when I first responed to him asking how it made him slower.

Don't demand people to answer your ridiculous questions when you've failed to do the same for us multiples upon multiples of times now.

No one's argued that Mind control doesn't affect you.
What people have been arguing against is that it does affect your fighting ability.. you thought it didn't.
Or that Wolverine wasn't enhanced or upgraded because he stabbed Northstar and Thing... Like you thought.
Or that no-one argued that Wolverine was slower, like your argument implied.

Everybody else has been saying that Wolverine was:
Brainwashed when fighting DD.
Fighting his brainwashing.
Not as good a fighter because of brainwashing.
Not upgraded.
Only given tech by Hydra.
Able to hit Northstar due to circumstances.
Able to hit Thing partially to circumstances and partially because it's just not that hard given the comparative physicality.

No one has been mentioning speed in terms of brainwashing EXCEPT YOU!

😠

(do they have a smilie where he's pulling his hair out? I think I need one to express what Phantom Zone's circles are doing to me)

LMAO...

good ol' Kotex...

And why? Why are we all trying to solve this Dollar Store jigsaw with missing peices that Alf keeps throwing at the wall everytime someone tries to put it together?

Because he thought the EOTS fight with DD somehow disproves that Logan's higher fighting ability would mean anything in a fight with Blade.

Your just pissed because its the same damn thing you were saying and you're arguing over semantic

The point is that even in a situation with all the advantages in his favour Wolverine still had trouble beating DD. Why are we assuming that Wolverines experience of such great importance when he has toruble dealing with less expreinced opponents time and time again.

And no one gives a flying monkey fuck because you're the only one talking about speed being affected, and only started doing so in a desperate red herring about 50 years ago. In contrast to 100 years ago when you were saying speed was upgraded.

Everyone else is and was referring to skill, Kotex.

And that's unfair to the sanitary pad, because at least it was once useful.

In the same context as what I said here. Correct?

Head clouded, not of right mind, out of it, ergo skill affected. Ergo not actually referring to speed.

And? Again, the only one who's arguing ANYTHING about Logan's speed being slower IS YOU.
Your rationale nor explanation on how you think brain washing affects speed is relivant to this discussion when no one's arguing that he was or wasn't slower to begin with.

The only way your explainations mean anything here is if you're actually TRYING to discredit your own arguments.. which you vry well maybe.. I dunno.

No I'm getting frusturated because you're arguing like a damned schitzo.

REALLY? That's the point?!?!
Because you just argued that brain washing affects speed in a negative fashion. You stated that the fashion in which Logan would be affected would be reflected in not only speed but fighting ability too.
You've admitted that he had no upgrades.

So aside from having a bunch of ninja fodder around what advantages did he retain?

I didn't mention experience.. I'm talking about fighting ability. 😐

Have a nice day. 👆

Oh I see, so now... somehow... arguing for Wolverine's speed being negatively affected and that that translates into fighting ability being negatively affected, while now 100 years later admitting to not being able to show a speed upgrade, and still unable to respond to why the two incidents cited would amount to needing all of Wolverine's unfettered skill...

Ergo no argument against affected skill, no evidence of upgrades and an argument for impaired speed and subsequently fighting ability...

Amounts to all the advantages for Wolverine.
