I do want it but what's the big rush? Once I start having sex I can have it as much as I like, what is the big deal if I want to wait, I'm happy waiting.
I haven't wanted it since I was 13.. I just decided at 13 not to sleep with the first guy who came along, my ex mate was a total whore and I didn't appreciate her lifestyle. I didn't want that for myself.
and no I don't mean special as in candles, music, rose petals blah blah blah.. I mean I want the guy to mean something to me. to love him.

I can understand not wanting your first time to be in a back-alley with a hobo, because you only get one first time, but similarly, why does it have to be someone special? What if you don't find someone special for ages? You're depriving yourself of something you want and can get readily, for something you aren't sure of when you'll get it.
It's like when married men say; "Enjoy your freedom while you can.". Why get married then?
You're talking of sex in a way that doesn't coincide with your supposed beliefs regarding it, that's my point.
If you lose your virginity to a guy you have a crush on, or just like, what's the big deal? If you have an amazing experience, why is love the deal-sealer?

I can happily wait til I'm 28.. that's only 3 years anyways.. but right now I'm happy to wait as long as it takes.
In a years time if i feel differently and decide to just get it over with then I will.
but right now this is how I feel about the matter.
and even if afterwards I look back and realise it wasn't love at least I'll have done it my way.
I wonder why this is such a big issue to you?
