DC vs. MK

Started by Evil Dead117 pages

It's only $60........I'll buy it. I enjoyed deception and Armageddon (which was the same game with more characters). This one will just have comic people in it.

I do question them choosing DC comics as a partner though. I've never read a comic book in my life, most of the general public do not read comics. Even among nerds.....video game nerds who will buy MK may not be comic book nerds who know all these characters. The only DC characters I know are Superman, Batman and the foes of each featured in movies and television shows.

Trying to get Marvel would have been better since a lot of their characters have crossed over into the mainstream via movies. Everybody now knows who the Xmen are, the Fantastic 4, Spiderman, Hulk, Ironman, etc.

agreed...

Most of Marvel's mainstream movie heroes also aren't nearly as overpowered as DC's. Spiderman and Daredevil and Wolverine losing to Sub-Zero and Scorpion would be much more viable and realistic then the Flash and Superman, who both move faster then light, and one of which can destroy planets with ease.

This game is more like a response to the Marvel vs. Capcom series (or an anti-Marvel vs. Capcom game), thus it wouldn't make any sense to crossover with the same company.

Seriously? Thor isn't overpowered? Dude is FTL and has world lifting feats. Juggernaut is at least on his strength level, is completely invulnerable, and unstoppable. Silver Surfer would make Superman his b!tch. Or how about Hulk who was sinking the Eastern Seaboard with a footstep? GTFO.

superman being hurt by the attacks of the others can easily be explained by one simple thing: magic.

obviously it doesnt account for the fists and feet and whatnot, but for spears and fireballs and iceblasts and shadowkicks? yes, it can...

Right, because a movie star from earth who knows karate could beat a 4 armed super strength giant monster, a god who controls lightning and not break his fist when he hits a guy in a suit made of metal. MK is not about realism in case you didnt notice.

Johnny Cage is superhuman as well, and being a God does not mean anything.

I don't see where you're going with your line of reasoning...

Unlike most cats on the net, I'm actually lookin foward to this game.

In MK's case, yes it does.

No it doesn't.

Believe whatever you want.

Trust me, I've been doing that long before you gave me the okay. 🙂

Don't worry, I already noticed it.

Haven't we all.

Being a God means jack friggin shit, ESPECIALLY in MK.

Those "Gods" are pwned by mortals in MK all the time.

Bull crap. The original Sub-Zero is the only one to have beaten gods but seeing that that's most likely not their true forms anyway, I don't see why you're bringing this up. Besides, who said Sub-Zero is mere human anyway?

Taven also did so. Matter of fact, he did so without even suffering serious injuries, and he''s only a half-god. Daegon also beat Argus. Neither of them are immortal since they're only half-gods.
