Okay, I know people be saying Liu Kang is generic but the thing is, I've yet to see a good reason for it. Like for example, I think brainchild (or somebody here) said that he's just a stereotypical asian guy who's just doing the right thing. Or there could be other reasons why people say he's lame (reasons I really would like to hear).

But here's some things you should look at; Liu Kang didn't always believe the stories about the MK tournaments. He (as how as he put in the MK:JB video) thought they were just "fairy tales". Another thing is, if you have prior knowledge that the world is about to be taken over if somebody from Earth doesn't win a tournament, what would you do? And be honest here.

And as for Johnny Cage, he adds alot of humor to the series and some of these reasons for hating just doesn't make sense.

Also, why is it that some of you mostly talk about characters you hate? I know some of you might like Scorpion or Sub-Zero but I think it's just ridiculous you come just express hatred. It's obvious some of you just bigger SF fans.

I don't get where you were going w/the Scorp/Subzero part. As for Liu Lame, I said he's just another Asian guy in a headband. Either Cage, Scorp or Sub should have been the main guy.

Wanna know why Superman doesn't fvck with Joker? Cause he is too busy fighting planetary to universal threats like Darkseid, Superman Prime, Doomsday, or Imperiex. Super HAS killed IIRC, he will kill when necessary. He killed Doomsday if you remember(but the fvcker came back lol).

The Superman movies are ghey. And Cage went a whole movie dead. LOL. I can post a scan which easily shows how badass Superman can be.

So what? There's plenty of Asian fighting game heroes with headbands. He was just one of the earliest ones. Heck, he didn't have a headband in the first MK. But yeah, alot of protagonists (Asian or not) have them; Hanzou, Hayato, Akira, Sol, Mizoguchi, Eiji, etc. Heck, Kyo wears something similar to it. I think Liu Kang stood out from the other heroes back then who were similar to Ryu because he was not your typical shoto clone. He was much more unique and interesting and original.

Well actually Ryu is pretty much the archtype for the japanese fighting hero.

I just don't like Liu cause he is lame, nothing interesting about his character, nor his fighting style, and he doesn't even get a manly catch phrase like,"The fight is all." 😛

Well he's based on Bruce Lee. That's cool. yinyang 😄

Speaking of Bruce Lee, anybody ever heard of that movie "Bruce Lee vs. The Supermen" or something? Man, I bet that movie was horrible. Good thing this game would have a better showing.

liu had good gameplay, thats really all that matters to me hehe.. you could always store up a bicycle kick in your arsenal and bust it out at the least expected moment

Being lamer, less badass, and about as funny(Cage provides no lulz), while at the same time being a jackass?

Cage is hilarious. He was funny as hell the 1st movie.

2. Oh please. Superman is pretty fvcking limited compared to several heroes in DC, I don't ever hear anyone compare about fvckin Green Lanterns. Given Superman's speed, that feat is entirely possible. He has a bio aura around his body, how else will they explain his durability? Super duper hard skin? And glasses are not the real disguise once again. Ure is the last syllable of failure.

3. Only Superman isn't lame, however, Superman movies generally suck cause they make Lex Luthor the villain, if Lex is gonna be the villain of a Superman movie, give him his fvckin powersuit or SUMTHIN so there can actually be a fight.
