DC vs. MK

I was able to play this game yesterday. It's somewhat fun.

ESRB should've let this game alone because I'm still on their case about blocking the awesome prankster gun fatality that was the Joker's.

Seriously, I didn't even see that much blood and there wasn't even a bullet hole in the opponents head. If it had a bullet hole then maybe they would've found a decent excuse to block it.

A PG-13 rating is pretty much like a T rating. The movie "Dark Knight" is a PG-13 movie and it showed stuff that looked like it would be in a R rated film. Joker shoved a pencil up some dudes eye socket and yet they allowed children to watch such a scene (I may add that that scene was friggin awesome 🙂 ). My point through all this is this: they can show a dude having his eye penetrated by a pencil and yet it's inappropiate to put a gun shot scene in a T rated game. Seriously...WHAT THE HECK ESRB?!

What good has ESRB ever done other than pissing a lot of people off by blocking violence in other games?

The game is already out and you're still complaining about the rating?

Dude, it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

I just got the game today but I won't be playing it until next week

Ed Boon's been dreaming of a Mortal Kombat vs. Street Fighter. This is nothing to go against MKvsDC, I'm just wonderin why he hasn't made that game yet because that doesn't sound like a bad idea.

Smashbro, I'm only upset with the blocking of a fataility, not the rating for as you can see, the game is friggin awesome. Sorry if my desire for violence bugs you. Not trying to be annoying on purpose. I'm just lettin loose about what I think. Is that so wrong?

Prior to this, Ed Boon did approach Capcom with the idea but they couldn't agree on who was gonna develop it. He said he might try again (at least after SFIV is released).

I wouldn't want to play a "Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat" game.

Well, it's annoying when you're constantly saying it. I can understand why you're mad about the blocked fatality, but you don't have to constantly remind us about it.

I do. It's a dream match for me. I've been wanting to see this since the 90s.

Well, I can't picture the SF characters doing fatalities. I can picture MK characters doing hyper combos, though.

Why can't Dark Khan be played? I know he's a boss but you can even play Algol in SCIV and he's a boss.

dc just considers itself to be too wholesome at times... which i guess really sucks when it comes to a game like this...

in fairness, though, joker, catwoman, gl, they had some decent finishers i thought...

also, i'm getting this tomorrow... i don't even own the xbox in our house, but i'm getting it anyways...

mk vs sf would be better off developed jointly, imo... they should try to come up with a game engine that has influences from both games...

it would be worth it though, as the game would be a sure fire winner...

I don't like the pose Superman does at the end of his finisher. It's too MK. I've seen that done like after everyone and their grandma does a fatality in the MK games. He should've just done his singature hands on hips move.

Oh yeah the freeze was good, I really liked it but I just felt as if it was left over from Zero. Most of the fatalities/brutalities in the game were very bland like Batman using his grapple to go up and drop you, but others were nice like Captain Marvel's and the one where Flash just beats your ass. his running in a circle one was just boring, would've been better if they labeled it humiliation.

Is there really cut scenes during the story mode? I heard that when you play Captain Marvel, you first fight some MK characters in the DC side then later, some fire portal would open up and Scorpion would pull you into the MK side. I don't really know. I just heard this from someone.

This game got a 7 out of 10. You think that if there weren't any people pissed about the rating, the game would've probably got an 8 out of 10.

Sadly I won't be gettin this game until somewhere in December.

I sometimes don't go by ratings.
