Superman becomes invincible to magic.

Kano becomes EXACTLY LIKE THE JOKER.
Goes insane with permanent RAGE and paints his face. Also has the smile (plus red eye).

SUB ZERO BECOMES LIKE BATMAN.
Gains a Batman-like new costume.

Kitana becomes like Wonder Woman.
(Gets an island desolated from mankind and calls it Argus Island full of women warriors).

Shang Tsung crossbreeds Capt. Marvel's blood with Tarkatan (Baraka's species) and creates an army of Doomsdays.

The Joker becomes like Shang Tsung and creates a Mortal Kombat-like tournament in Gotham.
I'm guessing Bane would be his Goro?

Raiden becomes like Bizarro/Superman.

I watched the endings on youtube, and i think they are incredibly lame. I wish that makers of fighting games would at least invest a little more thought in such stories and the rewards you get for completing the game. One picture with a guy talking for a minute about idiotic nonsense just doesn't make me want to finish a game.

I've seen almost every finishing move in the game, and some of them are pretty cool.

It would be nice if we could perform "friendships" on our opponents instead of fatalities/brutalities. I can think of a couple of good ones...

Even the endings in SCIV almost look better than those crappy endings.

Yeah. I saw most of the MK vs DC endings on youtube already. Still waiting for them to upload the Shao Kahn ending, assuming Superman-Prime is actually in it.

Man, Mk vS DCu is overall the best Mortal Kombat game of 'em all, imo.

Followed by umk3, mk3, mk2, and then mk1.

Midway's hit a homerun with this one.

The only people I really want to play as are Captain Marvel and Flash.

IMO, Deception and MK2 are still way better than MK vs DC.
And the only characters I really want to play as in this game (on the DC side) are Darkseid and Deathstroke. Go figure.

I don't think that would be a good idea. With both tone down blood and fatalities, some fans might take it as MK going soft.

Well the bad guy's gotta kill someone and we've seen well known characters get killed before.

I don't think it was an excuse for their absence though, seeing that they could also be downloadable characters too.

Fatalities were never really easy to do in the first place. That's why I don't fool with them.

If anything though, the only ones that should've been killed off were Baraka, Catwoman, and like one other character, instead of Cage, Robin, Goro, and Aquaman. 😐 (actually, I'm kinda indifferent about Aquaman, although Robin from Teen Titans would've been cool, seeing as how they included Deathstroke and all)

Besides, they've already randomly killed off Cage a couple times before (if you count that god awful MK Annihilation movie), so why give him that same treatment yet again? It's almost as though every angry Cage hater in the world has somehow taken over Ed Boon's mind. 😂 Not exactly butt-hurt over this like that I-Drop dude probably is, but it is getting pretty ridiculous by now, I'll admit.
As for Goro.. why the heck would he get killed off by Dark Khan, the 'Rage' thing, the merging of the realms/universes, or whatever? He's the prince of Shokan after all. Doesn't make any sense (plot-wise)..
I guess there were just some considered characters they didn't want to include for whatever reason, so they made up a reason for them not to be in the game, by 'erasing' them from existence.

Oy.. I think I might hurt my head if I try to rationalize this game too much. 😘 Midway just made some horrible decisions about some characters' inclusions/exclusions. I'll leave it at that.
