He would probly be able to play a realistic anti hero or a realistic "bad guy" and I'd bet he could kick a lot of our asses right now just as well as if not better on the day when he gets out of prison. Also he might be able to tap into a certain gritty realism that has recently come into style in modern media.

Somewhere I've read that The Gov aka The Man wanted to make an example to show that finally the rich and famous aren't beyond the reach of the long arm of the law.
A point, but 3 years sentence for tax evasion while murderers get of with less quite often?
Another issue mentioned I read & appreciated in this case on another site, Snipes has a certain bad-ass reputation based on his movie characters.
How will his soon to be fellow inmates react to that? They might just crowd up in lines to be the first one to kick his ass. Might be an exaggeration, but the system should at least payed some attention to this possibility.

I doubt murderers get less than three years, maybe for a manslaughter charge, but not for 1st degree murder.
He'll join up with the Black Muslims, become a convert again and he'll be fine. It did wonders for Mike Tyson.

That would be logical for him to worry about if he were just a pretty boy actor but my instincts tell me that he will be able to handle himself just fine. Apparently there is something to be said for realism/reality after all. glare
