Surfer takes a slight majority in this fight. Not by a bunch, but I'd say Surfer takes it probably 6/10.

Pretty much. They can absorb energy from each other. Since that's fruitless they're gonna have to go beat the hell out of each other via other means.

They are pretty even when it comes to manipulation and the like.

I'd say Surfer could take it due to a physicality advantage. As draco pointed out, absorbing each other will get them no where.

Frankly I believe Surfer to have the more impressive feats in the area of energy manipulation but absorption I think they're even.

Surfer will win however. There's a huge difference physically between the two and it may just come down to that.
