Surfer for the win
Id say current GL's are goiong to have a harder time these days, i have seen thier ring charges go down very fast when dealing out lots of energy
Btw lets not get crazy with GLs absorbing energy, its not like the rules have changed( unless one of the new rules has to do with recharging)
They need a battery to recharge thier rings

NO they don't. Kyle has absorbed the power of a cosmic cube before. And they didn't seem to be running out of energy in thier EPIC fight with the sinestro corps. That fight was lasting literally for hours and they were cranking out loads of energy. Fighting, the AM, SBP, the sinestro corps, ect.
"Smart" fighting.

Nver your kidding right? if anyone has been a fan of GL for as long as i have, there is a whole new way for the rings to work, i will not go into every new instance, but it clear things are different, the threat of thier power levels has been all thru-out the sinestro arch, and i dont care about one time energy drains, the rings have rules and i did not see hal and kyle, drain the electricity or other energy from the city they would have needed to fight sinestro for the sake of the multiverse
This is one of those times DC made their rules and by golly GLs are going to be held up to it

and yes Surfer is faster. he's >= Flash in terms of speed. you wanna show me when GLs have out sped Superman, nevermind Flash?
Surfer's 100s of times faster, 100x stronger, 100s of times more durable, has 100,000x greater range (actually there should be more noughts in that, as he can attack/kill from a light year away!) and can do anything a GL can, whatever he wants to do with the Power Cosmic and, more importantly, it doesn't require will power to sustain it or empower it...

The lanterns also have never been able to kill. And that battle, shows that they didn't have to recharge thier rings, and that was after prolonged heavy fire, shielding, ect.
