The Ewoks are also obviously familar with the enviornment as the Stormtroopers are not.

They were also some of the Emperors best troops - and don't forget the Imperial walkers whose fire power alone should have wiped those bloody Ewoks out.

The Gungans suck too, but at least their small, semi-organized army with primitive plasma technology was actually DEFEATED.

The Teddy Bears armed with STICK AND F*CKING STONES are the ones who did the defeating of the "best troops."

Common, Han Solo and Chewbacca were also among the Ewoks! Not to mention the AT-ST Chewie and friends stole and used to kick some Imperial butt.

They didn't even see it coming.
