another thing I want to add on to here is that yeah there were some changes made in the movies that deviated from the comics but thats fine,nobody here said they wanted the movies to be EXACTLY like the comics,if it was like that,then the movies would be boring.but the difference between those changes and the changes of the batmobile is you dont hear us growling about the other changes made like to the batmobile and the joker because they are not anything at all on the same level of stupid unnessary changes that dont need to be made.

Is anybody mad at the fact that it looks like batman will be using guns in this movie? I know he had 'Rocket Launcher" type guns on the BatMobile in the 1st one (I liked the 1st movie but I've only seen it once, so please correct me if my memory is wrong), and it looks like he has, what looks like, machine guns, on the BatPod, in the 2nd one. Batman DOES NOT use guns, thats what makes him Batman, his folks were killed by a man with a gun, and he's fighting crime staying ABOVE that level.
yeah now that I think about it from seeing the trailers,he DOES have guns on his IPOD,im okay with that though because in the beginning in the comics he DID carry a gun and would shoot and kill people,but he only did do when he absolutely had to and there was no choice to do so.as long as he only uses them to like shoot at bad guys tires to stop them in their tracks and doesnt use them to kill people in cowardly ways,then Im okay with that.I would find it hard to believe that he would use them for anything else because he made a pledge in Begins that he would only fight crime to bring criminals to justice but NOT kill them.so as long as he doesnt kill people,im okay with the guns on the IPOD.

Also, not true, in the very early comics he actually had a gun and he used it. Look it up.
And what's more is that the dissidents of Nolan's prespective regarding reality are the most vocal and petty loudmouths. Considering the Batmobile, toss out logic to begin with!As well as Wayne Manor and everything it holds.

It makes perfect sense that the Joker isn't truely white skinned and acid burned. It makes perfet sense that he's a sadistic lunatic and a comic book character. Grow-up is my advice.
Besides, spend a few days wearing the make-up; you'll find that the majority of "meth-clown" comments don't address the reality that he's wearing the make up for more than 15 minutes. Try wearing the make up for more than 15 minutes andyou'll see that it gets messed up and reveals the huamn underneath.
Comic Book Joker: burnt flesh coupled with insanity. Nolan's Joker: Reality Joker not being played by Jack. Hated by peoplle who bought graphic novels and hated by the same people who own the original comics.
I tend to agree. I thought the Batmobile was awesome. Also making much more sense than in the comics.
The chasin scene was cheesy, as was the lying down mode of driving, but the Batmobile itself, looked like it actually was a useful, tool. I like the realism in the new Batman Movies...so, I am happy with just slight adjustments to the Begins vehicle.

The car was a little one dimensional, and looked like it suited the older Batman better. This one was meant to jump across cliffs!
This Batman is far superior to his predecessors technology wise, he doesn't use Kevlar, but armor that sprays on like butter, he doesn't use a regular cape, but a cape that stiffens with an electrical current and works as a wing propelled by wind, he doesn't use a modified car, but a modified tank.
And it's all more realistic.

OMG now we have to grow up to truly appreciate Nolan's genius? Give me a break. And of course after a few days the Joker's make up would look messy...that's why that should be his appearance PERIOD and not make up at all but that's another gripe. And people who are Joker fans have a right to voice their distaste. I mean I'd be just as mad if they gave Two Face a mardi gras mask for half of his face instead of actually scarring his face even if he acted completely the same.
And yeah Robin didn't actually look too bad in the Schumacher films sans the nipples on the bat suit he was just an over eager idiot and uber annoying and obsessed with trying to get laid by Poison Ivy instead of actually fighting crime. Chris Nolan is the greatest Super Hero writer, because Batman Begins was the greatest Super Hero movie.
But ever Super Hero movie pales in comparison to some of the greatest movies made, I wouldn't say Nolan is a genius, but they are.

And by "sprays on like butter", it was sprayed onto the suit...not on his skin...which is why the batsuit is still armour but also allows more freedom of movement. but it isn't sprayed onto bruce wayne like "batsuit-in-a-can". least that's the impression i always had.
