In other news, I was really excited to hear that Damon Lindelhof (Lost, The last Star Trek movie) is not only doing Star Trek reboot II, but has also re-written a script for the Ridley Scott Alien Prequel that has floored all and sundry who appraised it.
Apparently its gonna be darker, more atmosphere/suspense/horror based and will answer the origin of the space jockey and Natalie Portman is rumoured to be a Colonial Marine. "Holy f**k" was my immediate reaction to this, of course.
I would love to see that, but that wont happen for like another 15-20 years til someone else retackles it after everyone forgets what and awful tragedy occurred for Humanity (AND Xenoity, and Predity) the last time it was attempted....Like the Batmans.
Any attempt to bring AVP as it stands back into the fold would be like trying to trying to sell the idea in 1944 that Hitler was gonna turn over a new leaf and become pro-jew.
