It is fairly concurrent.

Good call.

Poor old Japan. 🙁

And that nuclear reactor is'nt doing so well

bring on the super atomic monsters.

Yeah, so far they seemed to have it under control, now it's going quite in the wrong direction...

Yeah all three reactors have blown. The japanese gov are downplaying the rads effect...

Its looking so ungood there right now.
At least for now its gonna blow out to sea,
but how long before the wind changes...?
So grim. Poor sods.

Very... serious stuff this.

Yep. Food rationing. Blackouts. Still trying to get anywhere....find people. What a nightmare.

Plus the continous threat of a nuclear meltdown.

Thats shit seems to be escalating every day. 🙁
Yet the Japanese Government seem to be downplaying things, apparently, with growing discrepancy/disparity between their version and reality.

Apparently the emporer's message wasnt even current..it was recorded, according to the BBC.

This weather thats hit em idoesnt sound good. Radioactive rain etc

They have said the people of japan don't trust the current leaders that are running the country.

This is true.

Reactors 5 and 6 are burning up now, too. 😖

And 3 is giving serious problems now...

Apparently the power company has a history on lying/non-disclosure about accidents, with incidents running into the 300 mark.
No wonder they dont trust these company guys.

Apparently they didnt even tell the Prime Minister about the 1st reactor explosion 'til an hour later.....

Silly people.

Heard they've got the electricty back to turn on the cooling system... Why a normal back up electricty system isn't there or doesn't work is beyond me...

Yeah some respite at last, for now..
🙂

The lines.... if they existed in the 1st place presumably were damaged/severed in the quake....
Im surprised they didnt have on site generators.

Apparantly they did... I heard the water from the tsunami caused it to short circuit.

Well, as someonem remarked this week: nuclear power is absolutely safe, until something goes wrong.

Earth "going wrong" was the problem.
