LOL @ 2.5D...

I also saw this today at a gamestop (which I went to to get a Gamestop 360 controller which has a d-pad that is leagues better than the default, too bad they only had it in purple and shitty condition...). A kid was just standing there watching and clutching the wiimote...I asked "you gonna play that?" he just nodded. Anyway I wanted to see how Karas played in that since the Karas anime is one of the most artistic I've ever seen, and Karas would solo most in that game. He's pretty much the anime version of Flash in speed. Ryu's ki blasts don't stand a chance. 😎

They should've also put this up on Xbox Live Arcade, with better graphics too. Wii is about 2% higher in graphics capability that the original Xbox...which still pwns it. Don't have to break your expensive LCD by accidentally tossing the shiitmote at it. 😂

You remind me of some one.

Figures.

so far... I'm of the opinion that every single tatsunoko character is just outright 100% better than any capcom character in this game.. it seems to mimic MVC2 in that way... they all have crazy good mixup.. are fast as hell.. have great reach.. and their specials and supers are really damn good, and they seem to do a lot of damage as well...I honestly think ryu and chun are the only competition for them on the capcom side..

I won't hold that against you. I think it goes without saying that the Tatsunoko side isn't quite as accessible as some of the more reognizable Capcom characters, but if you look at players using them at their highest skill level, the practice needed to get acquainted to them seems well worth it. Chances are it was intentional just because so few people are familiar with Tatsunoko (I'd only ever seen Samurai Pizza Cats in my childhood every saturday morning).

That said, I find myself really only using three Tatsunoko characters regularly. I'm getting pretty addicted to Ken the Eagle. I also think I'm getting close to solidifying my main Capcom teams of Viewtiful Joe (I was a little skeptical at first, but I've gotten the hang of him since then) and Batsu, and/or Ryu and Zero (I know these kinds of users are getting a bit of flak online, but Ryu's simply one of my fave game chars in general), or any of them with a Tats char for fun.

On a different note, I keep hearing that the Classic Controller is the best way to go with this game. I've been trying to find myself a new one, but everywhere I go they're literally gone. Has there been some sort of recall that I missed?

It doesnt really have anything to do with accessibility.. when you see characters covering the screen with crap, move like lightning and have amazing normals, it speaks for itself

I'll give a few examples of capcom chars and why I think they're high tier

Ryu : his light hadouken is slow as hell (great in fighters), so you can easily cover the screen with 3+... you can hit confirm a hadouken into a shinkuu hadouken from across the screen. his blade kick has wallbounce.. so you can wallbounce into a super or combo, or both lol. His lows cover a good distance.. theres other stuff thats not coming to mind.. but ryu is pretty amazing

Chun : lord have mercy.. this girl is a beast (as is morrigan IMO). Lightning legs and bird kick are insanely beefy in this game (meaning they have really good hitboxes), so you can shit them out wherever / whenever and they'll probably combo.. and when you do combo > launcher > air combo you'll ALWAYS get her air super off, because its that good.. top this off with awesome normals and you get the idea

Morrigan : wtf @ probably the slowest fireball in the game, her angular dash allows for super fast overheads, and her normals keep the mixup fresh.. I think only the one super is good though (the "grab" combo one).. the missile spam and the valk drill take way too long.. still she's a crazy strong capcom char

Zero : several multi-hitting normals, a super that strengthens his specials, a 'hold down fierce' extra multi-hitting (I believe) projectile in addition to the already awesome slice projectile, combo-ability of his Dark Hold super which does great damage by itself.. this dude is great

as for controller, I play with the gamecube controller.. so I dunno

I know the Nunchuck controller is seen as one of the easiest ones to play with. Just press A and it does combos for you.

I've been putting some thought into this and now I kinda do wanna see Phoenix Wright in the game. Hopeufully if the DLC rumor becomes a reality, they'll add him in.

Also, what I was trying to show in the last page was the secret files that were revealed. The secret files seem to be characters that were planned for the game:

Is this coming out in the uk?

Can anyone translate the writing under Komugi's picture:
