Well, it wasn't very good... but it is good we agreed on that one. Now I have to convince how far from original it was to use Dylan for the opening sequence.

Oh sure I accept that it wasn't original I just think it was fitting.
And the visuals cut well over it, I thought.

Fitting.... cut well.... well, yes exactly. Hardly visionary. 😉

Most it was a good way, that montage, of getting a lot of the backstory concerning the rise and fall of the Minutemen dealt with too.

So "fairly visionary" would be my appraisal.

Hmmm... well, I haven't bought Watchmen yet. I was a bit disappointed with the rather unbalanced execution of the movie. And then I heard a director's cut was out and now that's about to be released, there's a complete cut coming out... etc etc... It's a movie worth having, but not worth having multiple versions... UNlike Blade Runner.

But Watchmen did bring a great smile on my face when I saw this:

Hmmmmm. You might have me on Raiders though....except for some very unconvincing matte work on people/bikes/trucks whatever falling off of cliffs... which has been recently corrected a bit for DVD.

I wouldn't call Luke snogging Leia in ESb a flaw. The flaw lies in ROTJ.
