I kinda was non plussed by H2O.

Cant even remember seeing the others.

Keep it that way.

That bad, eh...?

I'll take that advice, Mr.Queeq.

Yup.

Hate it when a franchise is dragged out to death and beyond.

Even Fred krueger did'nt escape that that problem.

✅ The minute he started rapping and kicking it, instead of raping and killing it, it was all over.

He should have known.

I bet he knew by was overridden by committee and product placement.

Lets hope that new movie is actually good.

In Rorschach we trust.

Hehehe... did we when Watchmen came out?

Yep. And he delivered. 🙂

He did???

I wasn't totally happy with it. But I do hope to get my hands on a Blu Ray of the Complete Cut, which also has all the Black Ferighter stuff edited in.

Yeah that be good.

Yeah I thought the Rorschach stuff was great. I thought it was other bits like the squid etc that were the source of most dissatisfaction.

That complete cut for for the Watchmen movie is only limited to the blu-ray here in Australia but over in America its on both dvd and blu-ray.

Roschach was quite good indeed, certainly worth a movie on its own. But on the whole, it all felt a little unbalanced and, prolly not the right word, uninspired. Snyder had the tendency to copy a lot of book one on one... and not really let his director's eye (if he has one) discern what this was about. Some scenes worked wonderfully, others felt out of place, and the missing squid was no gripe for me frankly. I could easily have turned out as quite ridiculous (but maybe that was the point, hehehe). And I definately hated his choice of music: cheesy, unimaginative, crude and easy. Now, those were things the graphic novel certainly was not.

I loved the music.
And it was period music too. Each tune would tell you when it was.
(Not an original device, but effective.)

His use of Bob Dylan was brilliant. And I thought that the cheesiest bit of music featured was "Boogie Man" as Comedian attacks the crowd, I still thought that was great..

THe cheesiest was using Hallelujah over the sex scene.

And Bob Dylan...well, that was like overtstating the overobvious. Bleh.

I agree on the hallelujah.
