I have never seen a form/era of DS so powerful that I'd believe he could defeat a conceptual being like Morpheus, under his own power. Same coin, I've never really seen anything from Morpheus, which would lead me to believe he is capable of taking down Darky, at his most powerful.
Now, if DS has access to NG tech [such as the Genesis Box], it would give him a decisive victory, imo.

Even if he did though, that's still not enough for me to believe the ALE can manipulate Morpheus in any lasting fashion. To do so would require power enough to manipulate the thoughts/imaginations/dreams of every being in creation [as those are the conduit in which Morpheus' power springs/flows] - that's something I've yet to see from an ALE user, personally.
Now destroy every living thing in creation, and you'd beat Morpheus by default - but that's also something I've yet to see an ALE user accomplish (lol).
