The movie just released.

If you see cats as being essentially useless, disloyal, destructive ponces who only think of themselves and dont really serve any environmental/food chain needs (except at that Kebab stall outside the pub), then the movie has little effect.

Maybe in the sequel the hero will become mildly allergic to them.
He certainly seemed to be attracted to cats.

Hell when he gets home from Pandorum, he should rightly be looked on by Cat owners with great mistrust and suspicion that he wants to put his peepee into Mr.Fluffy's salotch.

Yeah I liked it. Kinda formulaic plotwise... silly catpeople design.

But on the whole the good way outweighed the bad, which is refreshing these days..

and forgive me for knowing this, but the plot seems to - from what i've read and heard (i've read a large snippet from the script) - mirror Pocahontas...
