Yeah, I thought it was funny Blax chose those exactly, as their status as Christians is not as founded. Personally I count them in, but I guess many other Christians don't want them to be accepted as such.

No it doesn't, though. I went to the Holy Cross Catholic School in 2001-2003. The school was dubbed by the MES(Maine Education System) as a non-Christian school in hopes of showing the public that the Catholic branch of Christianity is not Christinity, and sought to tell everyone that the Catholic faith has spun away from the actual Christain faith.
It doesn't matter what any education system dubbed it as; if you are trying to claim that, generally speaking, Cathlolics are not Christians then you are in a minority, against the established tradition and understanding of things and, more importantly, in the wrong thread and area.
If you want to start a debate about whether Catholicism is Christian or not (interesting as that would be, seeing as that is all there was of Christianity for much of history), then please open a thread in the Religion area. Not here, thanks.

Well, that's fine and good, but as far as I know that is not the official attitude of the Catholic Church and it's leaders. Catholics, for all intends and purposes, are considered Christians. They are Christians. Some of the oldest Christians actually.

That's called clever marketing strategy. Similar to the reason why Ford owns Jaguar, but doesn't advertise that it does and tries to still pass off Jaguar as an independent. Why? Because the Ford association could/would damage the Jaguar brand.
