that's like saying that horror fans are more likely to be serial killers. To the best of my knowledge, backfire isn't out slashing people when he has time away from kmc
i get what you're saying, but porn is a little different from other forms of entertainment. you can watch a slasher film just to be entertained, while you watch porn because it turns you on. there's a little more of an intense enjoyment of porn... if you get that same kind of enjoyment from slasher films, it's likely you are a serial killer.

Mainly people from Japan and the USA. Their worst stuff is illegal in the US and majority never makes it over because it won't sell to a large audience.

Sure it happens. Apathy doesn't cause violence, though.

thanks to the internet i think it's unlikely that there's anything that 'doesn't make it over.'

in most cases being desensitized due to porn wont cause violence. but it surely is a downside of the industry as it leaves possible rapists with one less reason to resist the urge.

I came back to this thread and got some lulz.

There are never people doing it simply because of secular reasoning. It's always based on some "I'm scared of Hell and the wrath of God" sort of thing. [/B]

I'm celibate for a secular reason - I'm waiting for someone whom I trust and have some sort of amicable relationship with. I'm not being celibate because "I'm waiting until marriage" or "I'm waiting for my one true love."

I just think that sex is an emotional investment that I'd rather not undertake without a good relationship.

That's your decision, it doesn't make it better or more worthy than any other decision. Personally, I don't and never have chosen to do anything like that, I think it's silly and overly intellectual about a practice which is wholly to do with physicality.

My opinion is just as valid as yours, though yours would fit in a lot more at the church coffee morning.

I've known people who say that, and then one day at a party they knock-back a few too many, and have a dirty one-nighter with a complete stranger.

And of course being drunk had nothing to do with that . . .

And how is that religious?

There's a common saying: "Alcohol brings out the truth."

Not at all, just like siriuswriter's post that I quoted.

Alcohol dosn't bring out the truth. It only brings out the agenda. Trust me on this one.

But I'm glad you realize that one's eternal soul is not up for debate. There is no happenstance according to many religious views. I can't see it not being true in this case.

Have to agree, I don't buy the "I was drunk, I didn't know what I was doing" excuse. Fact is, the person did, the alcohol just made it easier and it serves as an scapegoat for the morning after.
