Agree. I think the majority of America has already chosen which side they're voting for and will not be paying close attention to the details besides: Obama = Dem/Lib McCain = Rep/Con

Is there a single person in here who hasn't already picked a side and is waiting on the VP to make the choice? Anyone?

*listens to crickets*
In all fairness, though, I am still not 100% Obama. The sick and stupid ass lies being circulated about him is enough to make me vote for him just to spite the dumbasses. (Some of my family member's are some of those "dumbasses". 🙁 )
NBC confirms it as well: it's Biden.
Well, something that is important to note in the aftermath of the pick; Delaware law allows for Biden to run for both the Senate and the Vice Presidency. So if the ticket loses, Biden will still keep his seat in the Senate. But if he's elected Vice President, then he will resign once inaugurated and the Governor will appoint a successor.
There was really no one Obama could have realistically chosen that would maintain the whole "Change" platform. (On an aside, I still really don't understand how "Hope" "Change" and "Yes we can" amount to a campaign platform) The only viable options in the end for a candidate of such short tenure in Federal government would have always been a Bill Richardson or Joe Biden or the perennial Sam Nunn.
The ticket of two Senators does still have gaps in executive experience that a Governor would have helped with though.
On another aside, it would have been sort of tragically comical had Obama chosen Edwards as some suggested earlier in this thread... before the "I cheated on my dying wife thing." emerged.
