Wolverine (finally! The Revamped Respect Thread!)

Started by Adnan117101 pages

Hi I am new here. I love this Respect Thread because it shows Wolverine's true abilities.

Now I have something to say though about his strength. Considering the fact that he hiked up a hill with about 1000 lb piano, broken chains, lifted Ursa Major and tossed him across a room, lifted a dumpster and tossed it (without adamantium, also a possible skrull imposter who was not as strong as Logan) amongst other feats, I agree with the majority of you that he has some level of superhuman strength. I believe handbook writers need to do more of their home work.

I estimate this is Logan's strength:

Without adamantium: 800+ pounds to around 1 ton

With the adamantium: 1-2 tons

Berserker rage: 2 tons+

Sounds about right.

Hey guys,

In a few of the Old Man Logan Issues, I think there are some decent strength feats in it. For example, in like the 3rd issue when the spider-mobile is tipped over, Wolverine uses a metal bumper to tip the car back right side up. Also, in the Giant Sized Issue, when he goes to Heff's mansion to fight some Hulks, off panel I think he tips over a few cars since in the next panel it shows a few cars tipped over on fire.

This is also a Logan, who gave up training, fighting and is older, therefore his strength has lowered from his original peak level of strength. This just further shows he has some level of superhuman strength. If no one agrees, feel free to disagree.

Wolverine does the same thing with Psylocke in Fear Itself: Uncanny X-Force #3.

Shortly after that, we see Logan healed and Betsy is relatively fine.

Giant-Size Astonishing X-Men

Wolverine cuts off Powerlord Kruun's arm in one swipe.

Wolverine #312

Wolverine goes berserk and stomps Sabretooth.

I don't think that was the real Sabertooth, couldn't be BUT those were nice scans. Did Colossus state he could destroy the World in those scans or am I reading it wrong?

Why do you think that? Wolverine could smell if he was a clone, as shown in Evolution arc.

Colossus could've destroyed the alien planet Breakworld by ripping off the energy core.

It took him a while to detect Mystique though when she wad posing as Sabertooth (for some strange reason). How old are those scans with the Sabertooth fight? Did that happen this year?

Gotcha. Where was it referenced about the energy core?

The issue came out yesterday.

In the same book, a dozen pages or so before that scene. Piotr's armor was durable enough to make it possible for him to do it with his bare hands.

How did Creed come back to life though? The last time something like this happened, it was a flux.

It was a clone that Logan killed. That's why it had a different scent. The real Sabretooth was in the hiding, "training, learning, making himself smarter" (issue 311).

That must mean that Sabretooth in hell was a clone, too...

😕 WOW, just wow.

Circle of Four showed that X23 had a soul, so I guess the 'Tooth clones do too, although most of these new ones seem to be nothing but mindless fodder.

There is another strength and pain tolerance/ endurance feat in recent issues of Avengers vs. X-Men.

First strength feat is helping She Hulk carry Red Hulk back from a battle. Maybe not all that impressive, but why would they have Wolverine help if he had no superhuman strength?

The next feat would be in the same issue (I believe), where the Avengers go to save the captured Avengers and Wolverine carries Thor over his shoulders, who weighs over 600 lbs+ with mystical chains that are burning and hurting him that Iron Fist comments on.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. Rulk weighs 1200 pounds.
