Even in that scan it shows them breaking pieces off of them. The bullets don't hurt them, nothing does, they don't feel pain.

Well, the way I see it as Blade as being stated as having the power and vitality of the most powerful vampire. And Baron Blood(who is a vampire) was clearly stronger than Captain America. Then I just factor in Blade's superior skills and weapons gallery edges that he has over Baron Blood. That's about as direct of a comparison as we can make. Either way you can't count Cap out of any fight. I just give Blade the slimest of edges over Cap is all.
Actually I was reading that comic and apparently BB took on The Invaders thats Captain America, Namor and the original Human Torch. I dont know what happened exactly but if hes that tough hes no average vampire and im not even sure if Blade could beat him in combat.

Was Wolverine's HF actually downgraded though? BTW Blade fought him before it was downgraded.
Well in the death of Wolverine arc Azreal stated that Wolverines HF is now reduced. Yeah Blade fought him before his downgrade but he didnt manages to disable his claws using his barehands.

Yeah but to be fair even when Cap fougt him was tough, in their first encounter Cap used prep and in their second fight had Union Jack with him. I guess showings vary but its not a foregone conclusion that Blade could beat him.

I think I see what you mean but SHIELD did offer him unlimited weapons to hunt vampires and Blade was clearly enthusiastic.
Originally posted by Phantom ZoneBlade would have a rough time with Baron Blood, I'm not denying that. Baron Blood I hope makes a comeback in MI:13 as all of the vampires are back in action now.

Fair enough.

Ok, im not sure if Blade is that good. Cap didnt just disable his claws but they were not working for quite awhile.

Blade does not usually use those kind of methods during battle. He's more straight forward.
I think it would be unfair to assume that he can do it eventhough he hasnt dont stuff like that.
I dont see why he wouldnt do it when it could give him an advantage in combat. In fact in that very fight they had it would have been more of a reason for Blade to do it when he wasnt trying to kill him just bring him in.

Cap also knows Logan alot better than Blade does. That may explain how Cap went for the move like that.
Yeah but Blade also studied a file on Wolverine as well, not sure if that gave him more knowledge on Wolverine than Cap but from what I know of Blade he would have studied it pretty well.
Sure Cap knows Wolverine but he did that move because he could, the fact that Blade resorted to trying to turn him implies that he couldnt have taken down Wolverine through skill or would have had a very hard time.
Originally posted by Phantom ZoneThat's highy possible. But Blade employed tactics that those very files should have made very clear that wouldn't put Logan down, like the stabbing him, or shooting him, or punching him. Those files should have made it clear that those types of tactics would be futile against Logan.

Yes but stabbing and shooting does work it depends on how skillful you are. Gorgon and Cap have used skill to help them defeat Wolverine, Blade resorted to try and turn him, it implies Cap is more skillful.
