Giving Blood

I'm not allowed to give blood but I volunteered to administer the process since I joined up with the Red Cross several years ago.

I've given blood a couple of times.

I have had it taken, never given.

I wasn't able to as I had got a piercing within less than a year of trying to give blood.

I cant give blood I had a liver defect when I was born, all yellow skined and that and I'm constatly on and off meds all the time for the various issues I have.

so if I could I would, however I am a registered organ donor.

I hate needles. I don't like it being lodged into my flesh, the feeling makes me cringe a bit but afterwards, my entire arm begins to soar.

I can't give any, and I can't take any.

So by that same token... I can't get blood transfusions either. If I am severely injured and I need a blood transfusion, my religion dictates that I should deny the transfusion, even if it costs me my life. Most members even have a little card in their wallet, so if they get knocked unconcious and can't say anything the doctors won't give them a transfusion.

I'm good with needles, so I'm up for giving blood. I just need to look for a blood drive-place near me first.

Yep, JW's. I dunno about any others.

I dont like needles least of all being jabbed with them but that didnt stop me having a 7 inch tatton done down the bottom of my neck and top of my back right down the spine. 😂
