A Lover's War: Heaven Vs. Hell (rp)

That was more than Ezekiel could take. He left the mountain and made his way through the portal he had carved in Mordreth's chest. And he arrived in front of him. He was still weakened by his last fight against himself, but the massacre couldn't continue, and not in heaven, not where he was planning to go.

''You went a step too far Mordreth, and this time there will be no pity nor forgiveness. Prepare yourself'', as Ezekiel drew out his sword.

Mordeth smiled "the one i wanted to see...you pathetic half-breed" he unsheathed both of his scimitars from his trench, ready for death if it comes to that "so you think you can strike me down? something stronger than any has ever seen before? i would love to see you try" he carved a deep inverted cross on Ezekiel's chest

Ezekiel smirked.

''A scar for a scar''.

Golden eyes, turning completely white, looked at Mordreth. Gold light coming out. It seemed to freeze the very being that was standing in front of him.

With a scream of Death, wings deployed, Ezekiel thrust his blade in Mordreth's chest. Gaining speed he drove both of them towards the ground.

''A power greater? You have yet to conrol your fury, but it is too late now''.

With a clash that made nearby mountains tremble. Ezekiel brought Mordreth on the ground, from more than thousands of meter from the sky.

Mordeth laughed, plunging both his blades into the half-breeds sides "my fury is my power!" he bit into Ezekiel's neck, ripping out the flesh and laughing more as he felt his blood flow from his wound. "you took everything from me, so now i'll take your life from you!" he pulled out one of the blades and stabbed it in Ezekiel's abdomen

Not allowing himself to feel pain, Ezekiel laughed.

''You had nothing at the very beginning. You took yourself from you''.

With shivers, energy, Ezekiel's blood became like acid. Pouring from his wound on Mordreth's face, burning parcels to the bone.

''You power, fury is also your greatest weakness''.

Holding his sword with two hands, taking it high above his head, he plundged it directly through it's thorax. Flapping his wings, he brought forth winds of chaos. Nothingless approached.

Mordeth laughed more, plunging his other blade in the half-breed's chest "i had one thing. one thing and you took her from me! now feel my weakness!" he pushed the half-breed off of him and let his hair and trench blow in the wind

((i have to go for i dont know how long..but i'll be back eventually. dont continue the fight till i return))

((ok))

Rolling on the side, he took feet on the ground a few meters away from Mordreth.

Sticking his sword in the ground, he looked at his wounds. They were healing, but not as fast as usual, due his weak state. To his suprise, he started gasping for air. Was it too soon to be battling Mordreth in his condition?

Witha shrug, he let the matter go. He was not going to back out of this fight. Summoning his bow, he hooked an arrow. Filling this arrow with light, it was soon apparent that nothing in front of its line would resist. It glew hard even 20 meters from its tip.

''Well then, if I took everything from you, let me also take your life''.

As he said he let his shot fly. As it took speed it covered an area that grew larger and larger. When it got to Mordreth's position, he seemed a tiny flee in total whiteness.

Shadow stood there, dazed and confused. Ezekiel had appeared, handed him his old master's companion, and dissipated... He stared at Gean, slightly confused. "Does Mordeth know you are here?"

Ekekiel sent a psychic wave to Shadow.

''Whatever you do, do not let Gean pass the mountain chain to the north. Use any means necessary. I cannot let her see what transpires here, for her own sake.''

Shadow nodded, unsure as to how he could respond, but thinking as hard as he could... The bloody Hell would I have trouble with that? She's three inches tall, for Satan's sake...

serg stood, finding it useless to try and wake kai. he walked next to shadow and peered at gean."do not underestimate her abilities because of her size." he turned and started the fire up again and went to find something to eat.

Mordeth laughed as the arrow of light shot his way "do your worst!" he laughed as the light hit, earth shattering around him, clouds of dust and dirt blowing through the air. Mordeth slowly walked out of the cloud, blood dripping down his sides "i have no life. you can't take what i don't have." he watched his wounds heal slowly, but heal. "why did you take her from me?" he took off his pentagram and threw it through the half-breeds wings "now try to fly to Gean now." he thought about Gean and felt his fury increase, healing his wounds a little faster

Ezekiel etherelised just as the pentagram was going to hit him. It passed right through him, as he dissapeared in the ground, only to reappear 3 seconds later in front of Mordreth.

With a fast grasp, he plundged two of his fingers in Mordreth's throat.

''You have no life? We'll just see about that'', he said as he tossed him away by the neck a few meters from where he was first standing.
Witha hand movement he called back his sword, Taker of Soul, and started to walk towards the lying demon.

''You see this sword, Mordreth? Death itself helped me forge it. And it has the power to take any demon or angels life, just as you took so many human lives.''

He stopped not far from him.

''You've never had Gean. And I don't have her. She has us.''

Running, sword high, Ezekiel was about to finish this.

Nex, still in the guise of a Cardinal, slipped into the large audience room. Around 300 men were gathered. Some Bishops and other priests but also some of the elite "hunter" squads set up by the Inquisition.

A man in red stood at the front of the hall and was speaking in Latin. Nex slipped into a chair and began to listen.

About to hours later the meeting adjourned and as Nex stood near the door untill the hall was empty, but for the man in red.

"Have you come for me?" He asked Nex,

Nex walked across the hall towards him. "Not this time your eminence...I don't tend to dress in the house colors on such occasions."

"I see," pondered the Cardinal "so, what brings you back to the Vatican?"

"Its about this war, what exactly does the Vatican believe it can do to stop it" asked Nex.

"Stop it? No that is beyond our power, but bring it closer to an end is certainly within our grasp...come let me show you a little secret we have here"

Nex and the Cardinal walked out of the room through a side entrance.

Mordeth got up and stuck both his blades in the running half-breed's stomach "no, she has you!" he pushed on the blades harder, sticking them to the hilt "now die, you bastard!" he let go and fell backwards, darkness consuming him. "she will be mine" was his last words before he fell

Ezekiel was out of breath. Taking the two swords out of him, he dropped on one knee. He was so close, he could finish him. Trembling, he brought the Taker of Soul up, ready to strike. But his arms did not respond, and Taker of Soul feel on the ground. Ezekiel followed. He fell right next to Mordreth, allmost face to face.

''Bastard, he said, luck has saved you for the second time... and me too.''

With a last cough of blood, he drifted to unconsciousness. Alot of wounds would have to heal, of the heart and of the flesh.

Satan looked at his wife "well, looks like the fairy's lover took out our best soldier...for now" he sighed and shook his head

Mordeth felt the body of the half-breed hit the ground, but couldn't say or do anything about it. in his head he was awake but in body and spirit, he was unconsciousn. he thought to himself 'maybe this is my time. maybe i'm to die right now'

Kaiisura was in a deep slumber that day....

The wind blew harsh that day, Saizure stood next to Kaiisura in his human form. "What shall we do today m'lady?" he asked her. "I want to see Iofiel, she's the only one who truely understands me." kaiisura replied. "Let me come with you..." Saizure said. "No... this time I have to go alone..." Kaiisura ran from Saizure. She ran into Iofiel's slepping quarters only to find she wasn't there. Kaiisura sighed and decided it was a nice day and went to walk in the woods on earth below. In the midst of the forest she found Iofiel and a demon...Shagrath. She knew Iofiel's affection for the demon and she watched them closely. They were perfectly happy with one another. A few hours later they had departed one another. A few seconds after Iofiel had been betrayed by her own kind. The one mother Kaiisura had died infront of her by another angel. The same angel saw her and pinned her to the ground, "You tell anyone of this and I will slay you just as I have Iofiel, you saw Shagrath betray and kill her, you got that?" Kaiisura nodded and the angel left. Kaiisura crawled to Iofiel. Iofiel's last words to her were "follow your heart..."

Kaiisura started sweating and panting, she was crying in her sleep. Tears kept flowing down her cheeks and she sobbed still asleep.

Mordeth felt the body of the half-breed hit the ground, but couldn't say or do anything about it. in his head he was awake but in body and spirit, he was unconsciousn. he thought to himself 'maybe this is my time. maybe i'm to die right now'

An old woman, decrepit and blind stood above the two fallen creatures. She knelt next to them and placed a small feeble hand upon their heads. She breathed upwards and with each inhalation the chests of the angels surged upward arching their backs. Finally after hours of repeating this, she had completely healed their wounds and fatigue. She turned to Mordeth and spoke with an old accent that far outdated all other speech. Your evil and furry has long blinded you to the truth. Your emotions have risen to guide you, but your blindness continues to impede you! she placed a hand on Mordeth's eyes and pressed down gently, Now I raise that blindness that you may see. and in lifting her hands she withdrew every darkness, every evil, every twisted cruel malice that flowed within his blood. His dark demon wings shriveled up and golden brown eagle wings grey in their place. She passed over to Ezekiel.

You remind me of a young Metatron when he was filled with the earnest to unite both realms. But a man's knowledge should not be placed upon a child. You have carried a burden that should not have been yours, to mar you as you didn't deserve. I free you of this bondage, I release you from this responsibility. She placed her hands upon his chest, and lifted the cube out of him. With the cube exited all the augmentation and abilities, every knowledge and experience that was passed on to Ezekiel disintegrated away. A powerful gust of wind blew up against her face as she flattened the cube within her hands. When she opened her hands again, the cube has flattened to become a necklace. Carefully she secured the end behind her neck and took hold of her wooden cane. Now both of you, rise. There is much work to do...

When shadow looked over at surg, assuming that he would once surg started talking, Gean quietly took flight. She flew fast, batting her wings at a speed even a humming bird couldnt match. "I'm coming Sir... I wont let him take you.. I wont let death take either of you from me!" She arrived... But it was too late. Both lay side by side. She flew over and landed between them, checking each for signs of life. Ezekiel was worse off then Mordeth, who was on the edge of consciousness. She sighed and went to Ezekiel, laying a burning hand onto his major wounds. Her flame would stop the bleeding, and help the healing process along. Then she moved to Mordeth, slowly making her way to where he would be able to see her. She wanted him to see her tears. "Mordeth... You will stop this madness... You will stop it at once!.. You idiot! You bastard!" Her voice cracked and tears ran from her eyes like a river. She shook her head and hugged his arm, burying her face so he wouldnt see her tears. "Look at what you have done Mordeth... You've brought shame to hell... You brought shame to me and Shagrath..." She pulled her face away from his arm and screamed at him. "IS THIS WHAT HE WOULD HAVE WANTED MORDETH?! IS THIS HOW THE LEADER OF HELLS ARMY SHOULD ACT?!"
