''I know.''

Ezekiel felt it. It hurt. But he couldn't go face Mordreth now. He didn't complete his training yet. And even if he did, he would only prove the equal to Mordreth, more or less. What he needed was the old lady's training. He had felt her power when he saw her, and knew that, even if she didn't match his physical strengh, she could open his eyes to a whole new world of powers for him to use in order to bring balance to the world.

But he could still hurt Mordreth into stopping his madness. Concentrating, he touched the scar Mordreth did on his stomach. Suddenly, he closed his hand as if holding a throat.

''That should do for now.''

He passed the door and talked to Gean.

''I will train a bit more here. When I am ready, we shall go and meet with someone... very special. She could aid us, I know of it.''

As he sat down, he looked at gean one more time with kindness, before closing his eyes, and entering the deep battles in his thoughts.

😑 😕 hug ))

Mordeth stopped suddenly, clutching his throat and scar "that...bastard..!" he got up, only to be caught off gaurd with a sharp blow to the head

..........................................

Mordeth woke up, not knowing how long he has been out but knowing it was awhile. he looked around and knew he was a prisoner. he also seen his pentagram was gone and many gaurds were watching him "so, you caught me. what do you plan to do now? kill me? before you do, i want to speak to Nakir...now. tell her an old friend would want to speak to her"

(( *cries* i'm alone ))

The battle raged in Ezekiel's head. Metatron was strong, and it wass all bloodied and on the ground that Ezekiel looked at him.

''You will never master my level, for you do not understand what it is to be half-breed.''

Ezekiel stood up. He knew he could die in his own dream if he pushed too hard. But he couldn't stop. Not while he was so close.

With a flight he reached Metatron, who pushed himself aside and scrapped Ezekiel's back entirely of.

''Fool, do you not understand what you are battling with. Give up little boy, or I shall kill you.''

Condescending tone, Ezekiel didn't care. He stood up again.
Metatron dissapeared, flying fast. Ezekiel didn't know where he was until he felt a presence behind him. He took off, at such speed he left Metatron behind. It was the first time it had happened. As he landed, he hurt himself more. But he was happy. He was on his way.

One of the men went to Nakir, who soon arrived and quietly looked down at Mordeth. "What do you want?"

Gean sighed and flew over, having returned to her smaller form long ago, went over and yet again curled up in his lap.

Mordeth smiled, feeling a slow trickle of blood run down the back of his neck "my fairy is here...with one of your new guys." he laughed, knowing he was insane for tellng her, but he had nothing else to live for "she resides with the half-breed Ezekiel." he looked her in the eyes and smiled

Nakir sneered and spat at him. "Dont you dare put that half breed in the same catagory as me and my men. He's not in heaven. All of heaven and hell know those two are together. They became one last night." She grinned, waiting for him to get what she ment.

Ezekiel came up. This time the battle was more venly match. Both speed equal, furious winds circles arround them. With pratice in his head that matched hundreds of years in reality, he soon hit Metatron more than he hit Ezekiel.

Mordeth pulled at his chains, trying to reach for Nakir's neck "you lying *****! she would never do such a thing! she wouldn't..." he sank down and knew that he lost her forever "fine then....kill me. put me on the chooping block for all of the that reside in this place of lies can see." he didn't care about lif anymore and knew that being dead would be the only way to rid his pain

Nakir grinned and raised a brow. "Can you summon her?" She glanced over at one of her men. "Go get Verin."

Mordeth looked at Nakir "what good would that do? she loves that bastard...she won't come to my call" he sighed and looked down, quietly summoning Gean in backwards latin. "my fire of the night, come to the side of darkness"

Ezekiel let some distance between him and Metatron.

Striking his sword on the side, he felt the power he had lost. It came back, as his understanding of his mission came clearer. The sword started to glow. With a back slash, he unleashed a wave of energy on Metatron. Losing balance, Metatropn charged.

''The final struck. Wichever win is better.''

Ezekiel knew thid was it, as he started running towards Metatron.

Metatron yelled:

''DO YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR PLACE IN THIS WORLD?''

Both sword struck, and Ezekiel's entered Metatron's body, while the other sword went flying.

''Thank you, Metatron.''

And suddenly everything was day. He awoke, and found Gean on his lap. He had done it. He felt the power of justice in his veins once more.

And he felt something else. Mordreth was in pain. Like never before. It was time.

''Gean, I will go to Heaven before seeing the witch. It is better you wait for me here.''

He stood up. Preparing to fly.

She shook her head and held on to Ezekiel. "No I'm going with y-" Gean's eyes snapped open before, with a flash of light, she was gone. Soon she appeared, curled up in Mordeth's lap as she had been in Ezekiels. "Sir?.. Sir why are you chained up? Who did this to you?"

Nakir's eyes widened. "You!"

Gean spun and looked up at Nakir. "Uh oh.."

Mordeth looked up at Nakir "don't you harm her. she has nothing to do with this." he looked down at Gean "i'm a prisoner...and i'm on my way to be executed. i demanded it" he closed his eyes and sighed

Nakir grinned and stepped into the cell, two soldiers came in and pushed Mordeth back. Nakir reached down, Gean tried to run but was easily caught in Nakirs grasp. "You're not going to be executed... She is." Nakir gave Gean a little shake. "You caused me much pain little fairy." Gean looked desperately at Mordeth. The look in her eyes said 'help me.'

Mordeth pulled hard at the chains, slightly pulling out of the wall. he let his fury engulf him and pulled harder, the cahins and links shattered. he looked at Nakir and growled "she is not to be harmed!" he punched her in the abdomen and grabbed Gean out of her grasp. he ran past the stunned gaurds and finally outside. "Gean, go. i'm to die here. i have nothing else to live for" he opened his hand, letting the fairy have space to fly away

Gean didnt move. It was obviouse that she wasnt going to leave.

Nakir fell to the floor, holding her stomach and struggling for breath. "Get them!*cough cough gasp* I want them alive!" Her guards nodded and flew quickly after Mordeth and Gean, silver chains in one hand and a cage in another.

Ezekiel reached Mordreth's thoughts.

''Demon, I am coming. Hold your fury for awhile. We are to act intelligently if we are to survive, and if we want to save Gean. I feel her destressed. She is in danger, is she not? Now, i will come, and free you, and together we will storm Heaven. I will stay and talk to Nakir. You go get Gean and get out of here. I am willing to let my hate for you down for that much of a mission.''

When Ezekiel arrived at the gates, he saw the destruction Mordreth had caused. As he walked he could hear cries of pain. He made his way to what seemed an old building. Looking like a prison, he thought. And he could feel Mordreth's presence. When he saw him, chained, Mordreth was unconcsious. Better this way he thought, as he cut off the chains with Taker of Souls. It was then that Ezekiel called serg through the golden sphere's link.

As he came closer to what seemed an imposing door, two angels were guarding it.

''I wish to speak to Nakir'', was all he said.

Hands up, confiscating his weapon, he would through the dorr, where Nakir stood.

''Hello Nakir''.

''Come to heaven. Help Mordreth save gean, but do not let him take her prisonner.''

After the liberation, Ezekiel walked out and desperately wanted to find the angel named Nakir. He allmost fought her once, he was sure she would recognised him. He felt Gean's scare, but he didn't know where she was. In no great danger at the time being. Besides, if he got to talk to Nakir, perhaps he could free her without need of violence.
