During High School I wasn't very active but at least I had stuff to do and I was 118 lbs and it fluctuated between 118 and 121 lbs. From the time I graduated to the time I started my job I was at 127 lbs so I basically gained between 6-9 lbs and trust me it seriously shows on me! So anyway, since I've started my job I've been standing on my feet for 8 (and sometimes 12, when I get overtime) hours a day with very few breaks to sit down. Some days I am just standing up with not so much movement and other days I am constantly moving around because the day is fast paced and the machine I am running is going fast. I honestly don't feel like I've lost any of my weight though. My stomach is still bulging and my cellulite is just as bad as it's ever been (tmi, I know, but it's the truth for all of you kiddos who think I'm too skinny and twig-ish) and the stress of work is causing me to want to eat more even when I TRY and TRY not to eat anything unhealthy. I drink diet sodas now and try my best to count calories (I try to stay below 1,000 calories a day) but it's so hard for me to do anything...🙁 I'll never lose this weight. I'll just keep gaining and gaining until you can't fit me through the door anymore!🙁
If you want to get down to math about it...you can read here (my post is slightly down the page...it is the one with the math):
Do some cardio in the morning, first thing, for about 30 minutes. Make sure it stays in the fat burning mode if the machine you use has something like that.
You can count your calories. The best measure of how you're doing is gadging yourself in the mirror...not the scale.
Also, eat healthy fats and eat plenty of protein if you decide to exercise.

I used to weight 127 lbs and I'm only 5'2. The only way I lost weight was getting sick. And the only reason I kept it off is because I have to walk to classes. I think moving around like you're doing will help you more than you think, especially if you eat healthy. It will just take time.

No no, no bulimia for me. But yes it can kill.
It's hard not to obsess over weight. Just have make sure it's handled in a healthy way.

I wish I could eat whatever I wanted without gaining weight. I eat a french fry and my thighs jiggle.
