That shit was WEIRD.....

I was sitting here at work, and the power flicks on and off for a second. Then it does it again, then again, then a loud BOOM in the distance. My internet (the hotel free WIFI) goes out, no big deal, I just have to reset the servers, right?

In the middle of all this, I was texting someone, and my text wouldn't go through, and my texts ALWAYS go through. I tried a few times and it still wouldn't go through. I also disconnected from the hotel internet and put my sprint card in, which I can use anywhere, and it wouldn't sign on.

At this point I was like WTF, then the power goes out. Another loud BOOM in the distance. I tried to call the front desk phone with my cell phone, to make sure it was working, and neither would work, even my cell was not working.

About five minutes later, another loud BOOM, and it's like everything reset itself. I went outside and asked the security guard if his cell was working, and he said his went out and had just come back on.

Everything is working fine now, but MAN that freaked me out.

When the band and I had a gig down in Mexico last year, an entire structure which hosted the suburban area fuse light supply exploded. Everything went dead and it was pretty.

Also when that so called "spy satellite" was taken down early this year, everything stopped working.

Sounds like a transformer blew, but I dont know what that would have to do with your phone. 😐
