I'm hoping to get back in to it over the next couple of weeks; just refuse to play without a sub right now.

I've started playing too. I'm on Red Eclipse.

I'm suddenly tempted to wipe all my characters and start again in F2P. It has been several months, so might be a good thing...

Seems like kind of a waste of time imo.

Possibly, but I haven't played the game in months, and there's going to be an element of learning to play all over again.

I love the game, so it's not like I'm going to get bored any time soon. I just feel kind of lost those times i'd boot up my level 36 jedi knight...

Yeah, I had that as well but It's coming back to me pretty quickly.

Perhaps I'll just start a new character, and not delete my old one so that when I get in to the swing of things I can just switch back.

I just need to choose a different server.

If you mean that you're an Empire character on the Shadowlands server, then yep, I'm one too.

I'm only a level 7 Sith warrior though, so I'm still a newb.

Also, somehow I managed to get a bunch of lightside points. I need to find some kittens to drown to redress the balance.

If you want to add me, do you just use my character name? Or something else?

So I found out yesterday when I booted the game up that I'm "Prefered status", so not as bad as the purely free to play people. I get 6 characters per server, and enough quickbars to play effectively.

This might actually be all right.

Game update 2.0 is now up on the public test server, and with it come a LOT of changes.

Just a reminder to everyone: The double XP weekends event started last week and starts again today (well, as soon as the damned servers get back up). It's gonna be around for about 2 more weekends after this one. For those of you leveling alts or those of you who are just wanna skip forward to 50, dust off your old characters and get on! ^_^

Those of you who DON'T wanna be getting too much xp this weekend (like me on my 49 twinked out Sentinel who I use just to pvp), might wanna avoid the weekend and lvl alts instead.

And yes, double XP means: Double xp on Quests xp, PVP xp, space missions xp and every other XP rewards EXCEPT rest XP.

Oh and it stacks with character perks and xp boosters.

I stopped playing when they released the expansion pack. I hate when games bump the level cap. Seriously, all my hate.

Just about to finish my Jedi Knight storyline. ^_^

They haven't released the expansion pack yet. 😛 From what it sounds like the XP weekends are to encourage ppl to lvl alts in anticipation of the expansion w/c (by what the language they're using is hinting at) should be in about 3 weeks.
