Xavier does have that nice slick head of his....If the fight seems to be going in Barbara's favor I could easily see Xavier pulling out some HxC willpower in a last ditch do or die effort and throwing his body from the chair aiming his chrome dome straight at her chin for a vicious impact that if not puts her in a severe state of coma at least knocks her out long enough for Xavier to pull himself back in his chair and wheel off the victor

And as for Excalibur run... here's the fight with Callisto. Unless you're talking about anything else, Xavier does NOTHING here. He has a ghost-controlling girl to do the job for him. No such luxury here.
