Far as Satan's Sodomy Baby goes, that comic wasn't evil or gruesome, it was just stupid. Had its funny moments, though...language warning for the 14 and under crowd:
P.S. Does anyone know the issue in Spawn where he kills the ice cream vender who was killing children and glueing (sp?) their fingers to his wall? Spawn ties him up and impales him with a bunch of popsicle sticks - also pretty badass, sick, and kinda evil.

well, they just keep doing it. the problem always seemed to be that norrin had a hard time getting written by someone who'd make the comic appealing to the masses while staying true to the character. instead we got some (admittedly good in cases) minis.

true. i guess itmight be quite hard to write a character who really shoudnt lose a lot. Still currently as he is galactuses herald again i think a new series wud be pretty interesting. (tho i may be biased 😛 )

i never understood why people would say 'oh, x character can't lose, he's boring'.
the solution is simple: give them enemies on their level. superman has darkseid and doomsday, and if superman of all people can have it, i'm sure norrin can. hell, i could do it. if i could, then why can't marvel?

Well come to think of it he does have mephisto and Thanos. All they would really need to do would be to integrate them into the stories more.

I initially thought it was Thanos who Dr. Doom referred to as 'master' in FF 562...I mean, 'an appetite for death' and two beings show up in black cloaks? Big ass teeth with his chin cut off in the shot? That woulda been cool, bringing Thanos back.

i meant in the way darkseid was around for superman. not in every arc, and less sucky, but present enough.
and you could always make new villains...
