Should we risk creating a black hole?

Don't worry. It has the same chance of happening whether we try it or not.

I hate it when people say this.

No they don't. I give a jack shit about what new opportunities in science can open up from this. **** science.

do scientists have the choice of not having you benefit from advances in technology?

As opposed to . . .

Breaking all matter apart and causing the end of the planet.

If we had the ability to create a blackhole...we wouldnt have any energy problems on this planet.

That's not true. It's not compatible.

My sources tell me it is.

Can you link?

I know that there's a link between energy and dark hole, however, I,ve never heard of creation of energy by it in all my years of science. Or I might be mistaken, that is a probability. It has been awhile since I've looked at it. 😕

Now that I think of it.............you cannot make a black hole...............hahahaha.

This must be some joke.

Mandos: I doubt it'd be possible to harvest the energy that a black hole creates, considering that even electromagnetic radiation doesn't escape.

I don't know for sure. But that'd be a sensible conclusion.

Pfft, a possible conclusion...........i.e. no black hole...haha

That's exactly it. It would take a force greater than that of a black hole to extract energy from it.... we are so so so so far away from that. To convert anti-energy into energy... Besides, we don't even know where th e anti-energy would come from.

Fixed it for you. 😉

It might not be impossible. Let's just say we'll be dead and down a few hundred millenias before accomplishing this. lol

dude I dont like to mix words wit u but hey cheney is in charge of the WHOLE planets energy...lol...well him and alot of other azzholes..(someone should make a little cheney smilie of him eating the head of a bird or some animal..via little bush show)regardless of politics it will take us a day or two to figure it out ..lol

Relevance?

What are we going to benefit from creating a black hole?
It seems like we have some not so great side affects

yep but what if...lol

It takes the power of a sun to create a blackhole...

And still, far in science we still have to go. It is technically, with theorically speaking, not impossible to create such energy. We just need to apply it (present and future problem for hundreds of years probably).
