Amy=Lady of the Lake
Shadow=Lancelot
Knuckles=Gawain
There's also a new style "cutscene" although it is still similar to that of Satsr.
It doesn't look like it. Someone made the comment that in King Arthur the only thing you saw of the Lady of the Lake was her arm. Amy might just get Megged.What I find interesting is that SEGA is always talking about returning sonic to his roots(with crazy gimmicks!) gameplay wise, but it seems like they're trying to do it from a character standpoint this time. Sonic looks shorter and rounder, and he's eating freakin chili dogs. I don't know about you, but Sonic+Chili Dog=Smiles.
ESRB description:
Sonic and the Black Knight (Wii) - This is an action adventure game in which players assume the role of Sonic the Hedgehog who is summoned to help save King Arthur’s Camelot. Players navigate through the kingdom by running and jumping around obstacles and collecting items such as gold rings. Sonic can slash at several phantom-like creatures with a sword, causing the creatures to flash and quickly disappear in a haze of purple mist. Players can also engage in one-on-one battles with fearsome knights, dragons, and boars. These boss battles usually involve more prolonged combat and sometimes are accompanied by realistic sounds of swords clashing and enemies crying out in pain.

It must be said, I'd much rather fight a boar than another giant spider.

So this game basically is putting the Sonic Characters in the Mythological time of King Arthur, and placing them as characters who were actually in the mythos?
Lolz.

That sounds good.
I'll be waiting for a video of one of the boss fights.

Blaze, Shadow and Knuckles are members of the Knights of the round tables, King Aurthur is apparently the main villain. ( I find it all amusing as well.)

Wait, but... Joan of Arc was never part of Arthurian legend... I'm confused.Ahh well, at least Blaze is actually there.
Oh and Blaze has fire powers, and the real Joan of Arc was executed by burning at the stake, that amuses me.

Yeah; that's what they did with the Secret Rings. It's part of a Sonic storybook series.
They won't make another game called "Sonic Adventure 2" since there's already a game with that title for the Dreamcast.
Spoiler:
(Yes, I know what you meant.)
Anyway, you shouldn't bash the game until you've seen a decent amount of gameplay videos and screenshots. Judging by what I've seen on the Internet and magazines, this game should be interesting.
