Nah, don't want tourney overload. Plus, with the tier and cap increase the off-season gives returning teams time to come up with strategies and decide which characters on their rosters are expendable and which they will keep, and it gives newcomers time to examine the events from the last season and get a good feel for how it works. We also need time to address modifications to the format and rules to make next season even better (kind of like the "Owner's Meetings" the NFL holds each off-season).
Something a lot of you should also be taking into consideration, which was likely overlooked, is the fact that your rosters, as well as your experience and knowledge, carries over not only from week to week, but from season to season (like in a real life sporting league). If you plan on participating in future seasons that's something that you can really use to your advantage (having a "franchise player"😉.

Don't make demands. And interest lags mightily when tourneys are done back-to-back. Besides, depending on how long ill wants to do this, there's a lot to be said for different hosts/formats in tournaments. Nothing against delph, who does a very good job hosting, but tourneys got to where they are by including a ton of different hosts with new ideas and styles. A hosting monopoly wouldn't be good in the long-run.

Yeah, but surely drafting them to the same team (or the same drafter's team) with their old experiences is no different than carrying memories from one match to another if you didn't drop them.I could see why they would go to default settings if drafted by a different participant though.
I think the essence of strategy is better kept, if you loose all memory retention when you drop a character.

I guess you hadn't been paying attention to the conversations. It surely wasn't a demand. The tone of the conversation has as much to do with a single post as the post itself.
K. My other points still stand.

Question, Don't the future seasons move up the Tier ladder? Keeping a high meta might go over so well once we reach the low herald part. There is indeed abig difference between city rending power and planet rending power.
He's talking about the Minion's and Nimrod's of the world. Since experience carries over from season to season, I'd already have a High Herald in the ranks, for example.
As it is, I don't usually do successive tourneys. So it's not really something I'm concerned with. But it's an aspect of strategy that he's trying to get us to think about.
