You're right. The producers did mention their intent to have Heath's role be a more serious and a darker 'Joker' than Nicholson's version.
I think Selphie has said this but he sounds like that so people don't recognize that he's Bruce Wayne. Bale's "Batman" voice could be less annoying, but I don't mind it since he does it for a reason.
Thank you for agreeing that the damned voice was annoying, but as far as it being a means to hide his identity....I'm sure Rachel [or whoever] can figure out who Batman is when he repeats dialogue that only the two of them know, normal voice or otherwise. Ref: something about how it's not what's on the exterior but what you do that defines you etc. etc.
But then I suppose he needs to hide it from the rest of the people so, point taken.
I suppose what's really irking me is how insanely well it's doing, and to keep the Threadmaster's respect; how annoying the fans ARE getting about things like, and this is verbatim,
'MAN, THE LAMBOURGHINI SCENE WAS OFF THE HOOK!' ~ my neighbour
A Lambo going really fast and then skidding...reason for $400 million in revenue and insane fans...give me at least THAT Roland! 🙂

I've got good art, architecture and history all around me, as opposed to the streets of Redmond, WA where I lived for over a decade [beautiful place...but it's difficult to beat where I am now]. I just got back from Ireland, where I met my sister and went to the 3 day concert 'Oxegen', where there were 120,000 people and over 125 bands [about 60 of which I really wanted to go see]. I barbecue a mean steak. I'm FINALLY okay with being 33 years old, and one of my parents actually likes me! And the people I know are happy. She's doing her Architectural Design stuff or whatever on her computer, and I'm doing this 'coz I'm tired.

What Potter film do you think is the best? I think I like the first one and the fourth one the best. The fifth one was very good, but so far was my least favorite not that the movie was bad, it's just that even the book itself is kind of un-eventful.
