Renegades-
"Then it's quite fortunate that I don't want it to come to that."

"Ah! Then you will put down the records and leave?"

Renegades-
Hmmm, do we have to give them all the records or can Wentar drop the footage he took and Fas hangs onto his?
"Will the Lawyers be released?"

I need to know who/what is more imortant: Fisk or the mining drill? Denz looks confused. "You have my attention, and of everybody here, what do you ask, what are your demands? We'll hear you out." I feel helpless. How does Denz feel Ush?

JEDI

As to which is more important- that is a call for you to make, Denz!

You feel that his desperation seems unusually strong for a pay disupte.

"What's the use? No-one will listen. You;re all against us! Where is Eckersly, eh? Where?!"

RENEGADES

"Once we have a signed non-disclosure agreement on any recordings taken from this world, then yes."

((who is Ekersly, is he the missing miners rep?))

Renegades-
Well crap... So close to the finish but get stuck on the last hurdle... Quite stumped on what to do next. I might sleep on it and see if any brilliant ideas come to mind.

JEDI

Yes indeed!

RENEGADES

You could bugger off out the door and bring the evidence to Coruscant yourself, Wentar... you are no lawyer but you are sure that would cause them trouble if it was made publlic.

This is how the Serpent maintains its power, btw. Yes, it has its thugs, but in sheer military might it is not as strong as the Hutts, and the Serpent does not really outright own planets, at least not doirectly (some planets are effectively controlled yb them)

The differences are twofold- first, the Serpent was created and run by Humans (although it employs aliens, there is a Human supremacy vibe amongst tis leaderships). Secondly, they are masters of bribery, blackmail, extortion- and exploitation of the law. They have as many lawyers as they do pirates. They take advantage of everything you don't like about the Republic.

Renegades-
I'm assuming if we bail the Lawyers are pretty much dead.

You'd hope not- they've little to gain by killing them if they don't have the evidence, and also their cover for killing them was going to be accidental crossfire from you guys starting a fight. If they just shoot them out of hand they have some difficult questions to answer.

Well, you can deal with bunch of gangsters, you are Jedi! Say that he will be held accountable for all he does.

By the way, my second character idea in old trilogy game was Serpent member( slaver template).

Renegades-
And since we know his name or at least an alias there's even less chance he'd commit an obvious crime... Thanks for the help!
"I guess we shall have to go speak to the authorities then," Wentar says, turning towards the door. "Holding innocent people hostage can't be legal I'm sure."

"I really wouldn't do that if I were you..." says Nostrum, mopping his face again.

Renegades-
"I gave you the offer to leave, you didn't accept that offer. I have no other choice I'm afraid."

"I'm only trying to help you here. If you try and make those recordings public you will only find yourself in trouble. I have a dozen men dead, you see, and more injured. Not to mention the finanical loss on those walkers! Someone has to be held accountable for that."

Renegades-
"I'm sure the same can be said about the Houn and their settlements."

"Well, let's see how far you are willing to go for your bug-like friends. That's twelve counts of murder, some two dozen of serious assault, destruction of property... I would say that that is a good thirty years for each of you at least. And ex-Jedi as well! Quite the scandal. Enough of a legal storm to make everyone forget about this backwater, until it is too late."

Renegades-
"If I recall, and according to these recordings, your forces made the first shot, we acted in self defense."

"I doubt your recordings are that accurate, and I have a dozen men who will swear that you attacked first."

"I do not know that, he was missing when we first arrived." Denz replies, having an idea of where this was going.
