USH'S STAR WARS GAME 2008- 'New Blood' (prequel for new players)

Relle quickly jumos to her feet despite being knocked of the large platform. She gets back into the a fighting position to get a few good jabs at Glortharg with her sabre.

Relle moves very quickly, hopefully quick enough as to where Glortharg will not be able to keep up.

Denz blurs forwards and blocks the shot with his Lightsabre, quite dramatically...

... but the shocked miner by the rig thinks he is being attacked and moves to detonate the charges... but he is distracted for a half second before that, sot hat leaves it all up to you, Jovan!

It's all coming to an end. Ogros vanishes into the burning forest as the fighting around Con and zarl turns to victory, and, dodging to one side and bringing her sabre up, Relle brings down Glortharg, and wih him dies the morale of those resisting in the stone circle.

"I die... for freedom!" declares Glortharg, before pitching over, still. Ogros breeds fanatics it seems. Dangerous.

"I will return!" echoes Ogros's strong voice from the trees. "All those that betray our people must fear for their lives, for I am always ready to strike..."

Alright, can I help our Allies, with wounds, etc.?

what can I do in half a second? Can I lunge forward and chop off his hand which is holding the detonator? Can I because he is distracted force push him on the ground and jump on him? Or can I force pull the hostage away from him? (I would prefer the second option btw)

With Master Swiftness, you could get to him in that instant. Hacking his hand off WOULD work, sure, but you might want to be a tad less violent than that.

considering the theme in star wars about losing hands, I thought it was appropriate 😉

So, using swiftness, I reach him in that half a second and can grab his hand that's holding the detonator and kick him down?

His hand is holding the detonator, but is it like... can he push the butoon on the detonator and the bombs go off or does he need to put the detonator in some sort of device in order to get it to blow up? Just need to know that so I know how to hold his hand (just so he can't move it or so he can't touch the button)

He just needs to push the button but you might be able to wrestle it out of his grip...

Hmmm, now was that a 'he's right' cough or a 'he's bluffing' cough...

Renegades, as I see it, you have done your job, and legal battle will be tedious, but nothing else can be done. You should protect the lawyers and records. And remember that actions of Serpent are quite criminal as were.

Unfortunately that footage could indeed by spun to make the Renegades look like criminals as well. Sean, espcially, used force powers in a threatening way before the firing started. And they do have a good point in that it is legally dodgy for you to go around killing people without support from the local authorities (which the law has not quite made a decision on yet but might well turn out to be the Golden Serpent).

The Serpent are saying they will bring you down with their men. They can actually afford to lose those men, you cannot afford to lose yourselves.

"Only because they know that would not be sensible. But all this is irrelevant. Those recordings are not going anywhere."

If that's the case there's no real way we can avoid looking like criminals... Unless a 'we were hired to defend these people' would somehow work, if it wasn't a lie.
