I was being sarcastic with the "kiddie-****ers", though I do get the impression that there are at least a few people in here that hold a "if the 14 year old girls asks a grown man to **** her, then it's fine" stance.I know you didn't say that, your argument is that it isn't purely the man's fault, which I disagree. They engage the decoys and they drive to the house. If they didn't, then there wouldn't be a show.
I do not take anyway blame away from the men. They certainly deserve the humiliation from the show, but to charge them for something they haven't done yet (and I'm pretty certain they are registered as sex offenders) is a bit much (reminds me of Minority Report in a way but of course it's not the same thing).
THEN AGAIN, if this were not a set up and it actually happened the teenage girl has to take some of responsibility in retrospect (not legally). She gave him the address and let him in the house AND she had a conversation that gave her at least a glimpse of what was about to happen. Again, this takes nothing away from the blame of the man, but all aspects need to be considered.
I understand protecting the kids but THIS PARTICULAR SITUATION is not molestation. In poems, I have mentioned I would likely come close to killing a man if he touched my teenage daughter without her consent. Now if she allowed it, I'm still mad (I'd be mad if it were a boy her age) but why the hell would I be so pissed at the guy for? If I explained it to my daughter and she did what she wanted to do then it's like that sucks but not much I can say...
