Dateline: To Catch A Predator

Started by BackFire13 pages

As an adult the responsibility falls soley on you to not molest or attempt to molest children. Them giving consent is meaningless, since they are legally not able to give consent, it makes a very slight difference.

And they aren't charged with molestation, they are charged with attempted molestation (whatever the official name of that is). Keep in mind that many of these guys get very graphic in their online text chat, often even sending nude pictures of themselves to whom they perceive of children. That alone is hugely against the law. In fact, simply having a sexual conversation online with a child or who you think is a child is against the law. Actually showing up to their house to try and **** them just makes it worse.

I think the discussion is whether it is moral not whether it is lawful.

In regards to catching would be pedophiles? It gets my moral vote, as the men do it to themselves.

The moral aspect was discussed earlier in the thread.

I think so.

Obviously, he does. Hence his joke.

Obviously he doesn't. Hence my joke. I did not defend or give excuse for the reasons of pedophilia.

though I do get the impression that there are at least a few people in here that hold a "if the 14 year old girls asks a grown man to **** her, then it's fine" stance.

🙂

Hence he was joking and really doesn't think you're an apologist for pedos.

Then every adult I've spoken to on the net has broken the law.

Very true, yet those underage profile themselves as older........

Every adult has spoken sexually to you online? Because someone telling you to go "**** yourself" necessarily doesn't count.

Every adult though?

Is it on the lines of "boys have a penis, girls have a vagina", or "I want you to suck my nuts while pinching my nipples"?

Dissagree completely.

Does ANY responsiblility fall on Lot [old Testament] for sex with two underage girls?

If anything, because they were his daughters.

didn't they drug him first though?

It can become an act though, and that is what he is talking about. There is nothing illegal about thinking about sex with a child- its when you download the porn or act on it by perusing a child that you break the law.

Precisely
