Who is more powerful then brolly in DBZ

Only person that I could see matching Broly in feats is Majin Buu (anime-wise) since he's destroyed galaxies, no one else so far.

Do people actually read my posts?

Since the Broly movies are not connected to the canon DBZ universe AT ALL, a SSJ Goku in the Broly movie does not have to be as strong as the one in canon.

And Broly by feats has taken more than any DBZ character. By far.

but the thing is that its obvious that no matter how differen the super sayin form is ntog onna be stronger then the ss3 or equivelent of said characters

Considering they beat a character who is above a SSJ3...I guess they are. 🙂

buts that just stupid though, it doesnt make since so i'm just assuming that like other times in dragon ball z the characters who trump them in feats get beat all the same

It doesn't make sense...Because the Broly movies are not a part of the canon, so they are not part of the power hierarchy in canon.

And Goku and Vegeta also had no answer to a blast from Buu that could destroy the Earth ten times over, Broly annihilated most of an entire galaxy. 😐

None of the DBZ movies make sense. And if you read the manga enough, there are many parts in the manga that contradict itself, but the action makes up for that.

they wanted to make a good broly movie. and if they used brolys true strength, there would be no movie, for he would kill them all in a matter of minutes. they had to level the playing field, so they gave the other dbz characters a fighting chance. which is exactly why jaxx makes sense when he says that the movies dont tie into the manga.

YESSSS!!!!!! If his power is as legendary as they said he was, he's groovy, but at SSJ2 and above he's gravy!!!!

I kinda wish people would look at the context of things and understand wtf canon is so then they would actually know what the hell they are talking about.

Broly's movies are canon to nothing but themselves, so the characters in the movies(Goku, Gohan, etc.) are not canon to the canon versions of themselves, and as such anything done in the movie or any forms are not present to the canon DBZ hierarchy of power, and Broly is not as well.

So, Gohan being SSJ2 or not(he was, btw) is no real indication of who is stronger.

Now, Broly's feats in DBZ, are second to absolutely no one in DBZ.

Broly destroyed almost an entire galaxy. No one else in canon DBZ has(Buu might have in filler, but it could also be interpreted as destroying them over time).

Broly's durability is freak. Able to withstand a full force Kamehameha inches away, and what it took to kill him was enormous. Three Super Kamehamehas along with the power of his own blast(at least planet destroying) actually had to send him through the ENTIRE sun, and he was only disintegrated when his heart exploded, which means his powerlevel which is what gave him his durability was turned to nothing.

Broly is very strong, able to destroy a large cliff by lightly kicking down on it, Goku SSJ2 in canon was able to raise a cliff with effort, Broly crushed one with ease.

Broly is fairly fast, able to dodge Piccolo, Trunk's, Goku's, and Gohan's attacks from a standing position with ease.

Broly is fairly versatile with his blasts I would like to point out as well, exhibiting great control over them.

By feats, Broly is second to none.

You've seen Gohan against Cell, that means a world of difference. Gohan would have annihilated Broly and Brolly can't regenerate, He's in twoowuubbbble!!!

Might as well. This already took place after the Hyperbolic training and Gohan could turn SSJ as well. Need I say more, they only went one round in that room.

He had his chance, he had his chance like Frieza did, like Cell did, and Bojack, and Hilde. like all of them, he failed.

People need to realize anime/manga doesn't equal comics. They have differences on fundamental levels. In comics feats are king, thats how they show how badass a character is, otherwise its hyperbole and people treat you like they did Sentry. However in anime and manga they go by tiers to show how badass a character is. This guy is better than that guy so he is the best. If you look at it like you would a comic then you are just going to confuse yourself. For example somethings that happen in dragonball might seem weird or out of place when you compare it too something that happens in dbz. Their goal wasn't to show you feats upon feats to demonstrate escalation, otherwise people would have been running all over the place one shotting galaxies, they much rather just compare this to that (ssj, ssj2, etc) to raise the stakes.

Also they don't look at canon as hard as we do, we'll go microscope through everything while they pretty much don't give a damn about continuity.

As far as Brolly the quadrant he was in was at least 4 galaxies strong, he left almost nothing.

With Buu in the anime flashback by the Kai he starts with blowing a few planets, he has to be going ftl to make it too each one so quickly, then he just one shots the galaxy. Kid Buu blows 12 galaxies before he goes to the Kai planet in the anime, in the manga Kid Buu blows 700 planets then goes to kill the Kais.

Did he do this with a single blast? or did he simply destroy planets over and over? Because it should be possible for someone who are limited to planet destroying power to destroy an entire galaxy.

Brolly one shotted it. As for what he said about Vegeta and Goku not having an answer, thats wrong. It wasn't the strength of the blast it was the size. As soon as Kid Buu formed he shot a blast to one shot the planet surprising Vegeta and Goku, Vegeta intercepted it with a blast of his own and stopped it. Then Buu came with the giant one while they were in mid sentence and it was just too big and formed to fast for them to do anything about.

I don't recall Broly using a single blast to destroy the entire galaxy.

I smell assumptions. I'd like proof that he destroyed, actually, destroyed most of the South Galaxy in one shot.

Just wtach the movie..

Galaxy there
......Galaxy gone, its just assumed he did it in one, they wouldnt show somethign liek that if broly was havign to dish out loads of power, they make it seem like nothing to make the villian apear even more invinsible!

Broly is not FTL, in that short amount of time, he would HAVE to be FTL to destroy that many planets over and over again.

We saw on galaxy, we saw it be destroyed.

There is no other way that he could have done it.

Don't go by assumptions. There's no telling actually how long it took him to actually destroy most of the South Galaxy.
