As a hispanic myself, I found nothing wrong with RE4. Its just a game and he happened to be in Spain killing zombies/crazies. All of a sudden because its Africa, the game is racist. Bullshit! I think it is fair to assume that this blog is serious.
and if you follow video game podcasts, about a year ago this was a big deal there, with some discussion of how it relates to the industry.
I think you are right in labeling it as a fringe minority sentiment, but it actually did cross into the mainstream and, at least from my perspetive, has effected the games industry. I think it is reasonable to assume that this has "soured" the prospect of more African based games, or I'm a nutjob, probably 50/50

Hmm yes, I was just saying "hispan" for short, and I too, am hispanic. I was only stating the business about RE4, because no one got offended about hispanics being killed, but now people are shitting themselves over black people being killed.
